On Friday, 1 July 2016, my boyfriend and myself needed a taxi to get to the airport as Uber was unfortunetly down. So we thought, "Why not use CabCo?". And it was the wrong decision. The driver, first of all, as he turned the ccorner, destroyed his rims as we was on top of the pavement. Secondly, on Rosmead Avenue, he was driving 110km in a 60km zone, and needing to turn right into Doncaster road, having to slam on breaks to do so. Thirdly, on Jan Smats Drive, again, 110km/120km in a 60km zone and having to take the N2 turn off, slaming on breaks to do so. Fourthly, on the N2 he was driving 160km/170km in a 120km zone. Along that way, he said and I quote, "Don't worry guys, you will be safe". Hearing him say that, just shows he knew he was in the wrong speeding the way he was, putting my life and my boyfriends life in grave danger. Along the whole drive, I felt nauseous.

I see you have not responded to the other complaints, so I will keep complaing and phoning this company until something gets done about this, one of your comapnies is just down the road from me, so we will be going in to comlain.

Horrendous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cabco taxis really need to work on their communication! I stiod in the rain for a half hour after I requested a cab and still after 3 calls the co-ordinator could not tell me how long my cab would take! These cab service can cost people their lives while waiting!

Instead of calling an Excite Taxi to pick me up for Claremont like I usually do, I decided to take a Cabco taxi, since they were everywhere. After telling the driver where I needed to go, he said that the trip would cost me R50. This was the price that I usually pay, so I didn't think much of the fact that the meter was off when I arrived at my destination.

After paying the driver R50, he continued to look at me with his hand reached out. He then claimed that he had told me that the trip would cost R70. I reminded him that the distance on all 3 major routes were less than R60 and that the route he chose was ~5.5km, and I made it clear that I knew this because I had been travelling back on forth on this particular route for the past 2 years.

The driver, seemingly caught of guard, began to trip over his words but he persisted. Not wanting a confrontation to develop, I paid the R20 extra and left.

Some identifiers of this driver can be found under the \Person Responsible"entry if Cabco would like to do something about this.

I have decided to use Hello Peter because Cabco does not have a complaint handling system.
