We took our sons mountain bike for a simple tube replacement, paid and went home. My son returned home the following day from a sleep over, and was over the moon his bike was good to go. Not even 5 minutes later the same tube has burst. The tyre was never seated correctly, the tube based on speaking to the salesman was under inflated, that's why the tube burst, so we paid AGAIN, and wouldn't you know it, it happened again, under inflated, half the tyre was off the rim. And they claim zero responsibility. Well, that's perfectly ok, we got you, you give zero F@@@@ks about your customers, you care about our money that's it. Cajees Alberton you will suffer the karma of bad business. And having read the plathora of bad reviews on hello Peter, I'm honestly amazed your doors are still open.

Their service to buy gear is good but the moment when they causes damages to your bicycle to which they accept and agree to rectify, they are every single time when you contact or visit them in this regardfull of excuses and never have time to fix the damages. They will play with time with the hope that you will eventually give up wit your constant request to fix their damages. They even hardly answer you phone calls and the owner don't make the effort to phone you back to rectify their mistake.

Cajees Cycles Alberton service was shockingly Bad and completely unprofessional. To add a little context into this , my knowledge when it comes to Bicycles is pretty limited therefore i rely on the expertise of Professionals in this industry. I had dropped my Road Bike off to Get get repaired following an accident i had. Firstly they sent me the wrong Quote which luckily Riders at Work picked up. This could have been a disaster as i was claiming through Insurance. Secondly Cajees informed me they could not find the spokes for my wheel. Riders at work helped me to source these spokes. Cajees refused to get the spokes fro me and i was forced to take time off work to pick up my wheel drop it off at Cycle Lab Boksburg , than drop it back off at Cajees once it was fixed. Thirdly after dropping off my Wheel Cajees had informed me of another part they did not have and asked to see if i can get it? What company operates like that? where is the customer service? Eventually after a Big Tiff with the Manager on the phone they eventaully Fixed it. Fourthly when i picked up my Bike they Had put a 10 speed casette on instead of replaceing it with an 11 Speed Cassette. They tried to make up an excuse but i was having none of it and they fixed it on the spot. And finally after numerous requests from Riders at Work for an Invoice they still have not sent one. The manager of the store has got the nerve to lie to me saying he sent it. I will never go back to this store again and advise all Cyclists to steer clear of Cajees Alberton.

I went to Cajee Cycles last week Saturday (2022/06/04) to purchase Louis Garneau cycle shoe booties. Cajees did not have any in stock and I was told that they will get the stock. I was quoted R425.00 by the Manager of the store due to the fact that I could get them at R450.00 from another supplier. I was also told that I will have them by Sunday (2022/06/05) before the store close at 1pm and they will call me to collect. After numerous calls on Monday, Tuesday I was eventually called on Wednesday that the stock arrive. This is when the shock came. All of a sudden the cost to me was going to be R550.00. This is R125.00 more than I was quoted. When I told the salesman what I was quoted on Saturday, the attitude was, R550.00 is the best price I could do so take it or leave it. So how come the manager was able to confirm a price of R425.00 on Saturday, and on Wednesday the price went up to R550.00. This is absolutely crazy. Cajees need to stick to the price that was quoted when stock arrive.

I had a great experience dealing with Mateen from Cajees Cycle Corner in Fourways. Not only did he respond to my countless WhatsApp messages and questions, he also assisted me with packaging an older bike I needed to transport to Durban. What a pleasure dealing with them.

I want to share what has turned out to be both "Disgusting Customer Service" and the real danger of the new "Tap and Go" credit card payment method. Firstly, I purchased a watch yesterday 9 December 2021 at Cajees in Cresta Shopping Center for my 91 year old mother in law as she is having difficulty reading the time on he current watch. What I did not realize was that she would have real difficulty reading the numbers on the watch as they are silver in color. When I returned the watch today (10 December 2021) I was told by the manager that they do not do refunds at all. I was in shock. I said to him that firstly I was not informed of this at the time of purchase and secondly I asked where their sign was for this policy. He pointed to three A4 signs on the bottom of the counter. The one referring to no refunds states that they do not refund Sale items. This was not a sale item. When I returned home with the watch that I cannot use at all, I phoned my bank card division. They said they could not do anything for me. It then dawned on me that I did a Tap and Go for this purchase which basically means that as a cardholder, you have absolutely no protection on this type of transaction. The only thing left for me to do now is tell every person I know that they should avoid Cajees in Cresta Shopping Center as this business does not care about its customers at all. I am totally disgusted by them. Jeff Stern
