Complaint Title: ****med by Call First Events – Wrong Tent Delivered & No Refund

I hired a tent from Call First Events for R3,250, with clear assurances that the correct tent would be provided. Unfortunately, the experience has been nothing short of a ****: • Late Arrival: The tent was not delivered on time. • Wrong Product: Despite confirming the correct tent, they delivered the wrong product twice. • Substandard Product: When the tent finally arrived, it was nowhere near the agreed size or coverage.

Their response to my concerns was dismissive—advising me to take legal action instead of issuing a refund. I have since involved SAPS and initiated legal proceedings under the Consumer Protection Act. Additionally, my private security team will be visiting them this week.

I urge other consumers to exercise extreme caution when dealing with Call First Events. This experience has been extremely disappointing, and I remain determined to recover my money.
