I was driving last night on grayston drive in a emergency because I had an issue at home and ur driver in a black bakkie decided to race me for no reason. Is this how u folks protect community by racing people who are rushing for an emergency! Security is a dignified job and ur drivers take like a race track , catch a wake up !

Twice I have accidentally left my gate open and CAP have spotted it during their patrols. Today they tried calling me but l didn't pick. They closed my gate( l didn't even know that that could be done) so that my dogs wouldn't go out. And they sent me a msg. I honestly think CAP is the best security company ever. They do their job so well and they are ALWAYS ever so professional.

I am beyond happy with CAP Security in my new neighbourhood (Sydenham). While my husband was away CAP made an effort to come and check on me everyday- seeing that I would leave home and arrive home safely, not leaving until they knew the front door was locked behind me. They are friendly and I often see them shoo napping Uber drivers and lingerers who hang out on our corner under the tree. Thank you so much, CAP!

I have been using Cap Security for the past year, and I am thoroughly impressed with their level of service. From the very beginning, their team has been highly professional, responsive, and dedicated to ensuring the safety of my property. The security officers are well-trained and maintain a visible presence, which has significantly improved the overall sense of safety in my neighborhood.

I have been using Cap Security for the past year, and I am thoroughly impressed with their level of service. I have pressed the panic buttons numerous times to test their response time... I'm still waiting for them to respond months later... So I called them on the 1st March to cancel and they gave me the run around. On the 5th March, after screaming and swearing they finally put me through to the cancelation department who said they will send me a cancelation form. I had to call in a few more times to beg them for the cancelation form. Today, 14th March, 2 weeks later they finally take my calls and send me the cancelation form only to notify me that it's a 3 month cancelation period. Imagine paying another 3 months for a service you are not receiving. Disgusting and dishonest! Please save your money and do not sign up with CAP security!

Poor support and extremely expensive. Rude staff that hangs up on you. You will get no assistance from them. Staff think they are special and you owe them a favor. Will be canceling at the end of this month and moving to ADT.

I had a wonderful experience with CAP security. I couldn't get ahold of any state authority and I decided to give them a call to see if they could assist. I was called to be updated more than once and thanked for my assistance. Thank you CAP!

My problem is with the technical security side of Cap (Cap Security Systems) and not with Cap security: They were called out to do a job in November, 2022 because 2 cameras in my system were not working. The diagnosis was incorrect: I was told I had to buy 2 new cameras, which I did, but the problem persisted. I then came up against a wall of silence, as they failed to respond. I had to beg and threaten just to get a response to my emails (eventually I sent the email to 5 different staff members). Then the process would begin again: Technician comes out, fails to fix the problem, I again have to beg for a response to my email. In the meantime I’d paid R3500 for the misdiagnosed job. I then was told that I need a separate power supply for the cameras, and an additional power supply was installed, at a cost of R1150. I did some research on the item, and it appears it can be bought for less than R300 on Takealot. When I inquired how they could justify this overcharge, the response eventually from the operations manager (after further failures to respond) was to inform me that their technician had actually brought an entire case for the power supply (which together with the power supply itself costs more than R1000). When I asked where this additional unit is, I was told that the technician had removed the power supply from the frame, but had left the rest of the frame on-site, and that I had been charged for both. This is simply not true, no such frame was left on-site - When I pointed out that no such frame was left on-site, the technical manager’s response was that he believes the technician rather than myself, implying that I am lying. This insult to a customer is simply astonishing. It’s now 3 months later and more than R4000 spent on this job – and the problem has still not been properly resolved. I can certainly say that this is the Worst experience I have yet had with a technical security firm. It’s a great pity that the technical side of Cap is linked with the security side – I have nothing but praise for the security side, but this capsecuritysystems is a sad joke.
