Im writing this review from a assertive point of view. Firstly I'm South African and I've been surveying the way refugees are mishandled at the Refugee Home Affairs in Cape Town. These are human beings not animals, expecting them to stand in the cold from early hours in the morning, is completely unacceptable. What happened to equal treatment of all humanity? When you do not treat your own people like this. Your system is seriously lacking, your red identity document books are always delayed and the time period is never correct. Why should these people come all the way to check on documents when a simple sms can be sent to them, whereas South Afri an citizens are notified by Home affairs. These people came here for a better life yet you make there lives unpleasant by the way they are mistreated. Surely these's a better way forward for these purposed individuals. I will be taking action to make sure these silenced cries are heared. There are a few more issues that needs to be addressed. Why should only 10 people per day get the chance to apply for a refugee passport. This procedure is preposterous, you don't do this at SA Home Affairs. For example today is not Congolese and Somalian day? Please hear these people's cries.
