These people are hypocrites. They lie to their tenants, buyers and even treat their employees like ****. If you can interview everyone in that office, no one is happy. People are like in prison, they are just scared to come out about how Marc, John and Thuli "their puppet" They retrench people without paying them a cent. They lie and promise false bonuses to employees. These people are liars, they forced their employees to write false reviews about the company. They threatened to fire them, if they are not willing to lie on the reviews. CapeCo people, you are thieves. You are stealing from your employees, you deserve to rot in jail.

These people make a difference in Port Elizabeth. They have been around for 12 years now. I bought a unit from them in Pine Creek and Millbrook. Pine Creek had some minor aesthetic defects. I hear because of the builder they worked with. In Millbrook they started constructed themselves; a different league. What they are doing now in Pinelands seems very promising and exciting. They are really pushing the can and pushing the standard up in the R650-900.000 price bracket; a market which has been quite chaotic in Port Elizabeth.

What a professional but friendly down to earth experience I had dealing with Capeco. The brand is amazing and great value for money. The units at Harfield are spacious and are furnished with up market finishes. Fingerprint access as well as surveillance cameras give you a feeling of comfort and security. I highly recommend this brand.

There's a manager named John from Belgium who has absolutely no way of talking to employees. He is always shouting at employees and there is a manager named Thuli who always sells out employees and when employees ask for permission she always tells them that John will not allow that even when an employee is sick. There are cameras everywhere in the buildings for watching what employees do all the time during the day. They have a lot of CCMA cases for "illtreating" employees. At their sites, there is no Safety officer. Most of the employees are Zimbabweans with invalid work permits as cheap labor. Site employees do not have safety equipment and clothes for performing work duties. Employees do not get bonuses or 13th Cheques. The Quantity Surveyors do not have proper types of equipment and computer programs for their duties, they use estimations and write in pieces of papers. Employees are expected to work overtime with no pay and John is always complaining and shouting(as usual) at employees for taking the exact 1-hour lunch breaks and starting work exactly at 8 and finish exactly at 5. I will continue writing this kind of review until the employees are treated right and get what they deserve.

Bought a unit in Millbrook Pinelands 3 years ago and lived there 2 years. Excellent price-quality and sold with a good profit last year. Looking now what they are going to sell in the new : Pinelands Phase 2. Hope they will offer 3 bedroom units with a single garage.
