Carltopia log longboard - give them a miss
I bought this 9'6" log longboard 2nd hand via gumtree - I trusted that it was made well - when they delivered it (beautiful con trick) they pointed out some damage (which I have since repaired) I just just took it and trusted and didn't check it out thoroughly - my bad!!! - I have not in my 50 odd years of surfing come across such a poorly shaped board, it just does not work which is astounding for a log longboard. The local surf shop refused to sell it on for me stating it was un-saleable and they do not want it on their showroom because it was so poorly designed and constructed - I tried to contact the shaper, his email bounced back at me, his phone went to voice-mail and sms's were unanswered - I cannot recommend this guy's boards at any price - rubbish truly. What am I to do with this useless object? Maybe strip off the glass to use the blank and reshape it - what a waste of cash and time!!!!
