I had laminate flooring installed throughout my house a few years ago and was told this had a 15 year warranty. The first time the flooring had problems, they came and replaced the damaged floor. 5 years down the line, the skirting boards are falling off in places (laminate used) and there are a number of wood tiles now either bubbling or cracking. I have contacted them and am being pushed from pillar to post with no assistance. This has been going on for 3 weeks now and no joy from them at all.

Bought new dining room side unit, plus a coffee table and TV unit. Items had to be returned as all damaged. Then bought a carpet (large dining table carpet) - now into third week of waiting to be delivered. No follow up from Decofurn, Was told by the PE branch that the Cape Town distribution centre is a mess. !

The rep ZIYAAD came through and measured up and gave us an unbelievable square metre measurement. When questioned, he stated that a final measurement would be taken at the end of the project and refund issued - TOTAL RUBBISH. He overcharged us more than R400000-00 I will never use these thieves again

I would like to call out DecoSA for its underhand business dealings. I paid over R6000 on 04/05/2020 for a sideboard which never arrived. Now the company has removed their phone number from the website and when you fill out the tedious email form, they dont reply. Here is their website: https://www.decosa.house/collections/contact-us I have engaged my attorney to sue this company.

1. This job took way too long. It was started on Wednesday, 6 March 2019 and only finished 19 March 2019. The expectation was that it would take a day or two. Learned never to give 90% deposit on any job as incentive for quality work disappears. 2. Overall there was a total disregard for customer’s times and schedules by often turning up late or not at all. Not even letting the customer know in time that they will be late. We had to arrange to take time off from work, only to wait for nothing. This includes the workers and marketing personnel. This pattern featured from the start right to the end. Countless times we had to re juggle domestic worker and our own work and personal schedules. 3. Nothing regarding silicon application was discussed with customer. So it was a n unpleasant surprise to see white silicon on top of skirting (stood out like a sore thumb against the sand coloured vinyl) 4. An attempt was made to fix this. The while silicon was not removed. A second layer (applied with fingers) was done on top of the white. It looks very unprofessional 5. Both jobs (laying of vinyl, as well as installing skirting) were done without cleaning properly. Old skirting s were left full of paint, glue and cement. We had to request more than once that everything must be cleaned, make arrangements to leave house open, etc. Furthermore we had to point out glue marks and silicon against the wall. Why do we have to point this out? It should be done in high quality the first time. 6. Worker reversed into the wooden flower pot and shattered it to pieces. (Without saying anything to us. He later apologized.) 7. Wires were pulled out of beams’ sockets. This will need to be fixed by a knowledgeably person. 8. Job was not officially signed off and we were told that Senior Manager would visit to see results firsthand. He never turned up.
