I purchased a Mazda BT50 from Cartique Pre Owned vehicles in Randburg. On delivery of the vehicle the spare keys and set of owners manuals could not be found. They undertook in writing to supply me with a spare key and a complete set of owners manuals. Two weeks later they supplied met with n blank unprogrammed key which they bought from Ford and an unstamped service book only. No Owners manual as they undertook to supply. As the vehicle is a Mazda, the dealers told me that this Ford key cannot work as it cannot be programmed to operate the Mazda. I contacted the dealer and they said I did receive the book and key and my wife signed for it. They refuse to assist me any further regarding this matter.

DO NOT SELL YOUR CAR TO CARTIQUE IN RANDBURG _ THEY DO NOT PAY YOU IN FULL!!! The Cartique dealership (Republic Rd, Randburg, Johannesburg, 2160) offered me an amount for my car - in writing. Approx. 2 weeks later (10 August) the BMW agent that was coordinating took my car to drop it off with all the papers, spare keys and documents. The owner Roy said now he will pay 5k less- take it or leave it. So eventually, after this unprofessionalism, we decided the process was on the way and dropped the car off. They asked us to simply leave everything and leave. We insisted on a document that detailed we have left everything in their possession. They deposited unsigned checks which bounced and I paid for bot bounced cheques and clearance fees. They did not pay the settlement from MFC. MFC deducted my money. We tried to follow up- first myself, my dad and then my attorney. Jordyn and Lisa told us she would get back to me. Charl the Sales Manager was rude and screamed at my father and was very rude to my attorney on different occasions. Claiming he knows how to do his job. We spoke to him about letters of demand etc and he didnt care. I then sent an updated settlement letter as they claimed the previous was expired. They paid that late and after MFC deducted more money from my account but MFC settled the bill. They still owe me a months installation. MFC has sent them the car papers knowing there is a legal dispute.

Dealer: Cartique, 762 Trichardt Street, Bardeen, Boksburg. ********** I bought a Jeep Grand Cherokee in "exellent condition" and nothing wrong on 22/7/17. My contact is Cyril. I BOUGHT THE CAR WITH A ONE MONTH GUARANTEE. Unfortunately, I had to take the car 300 Km. far were I stay. First step is to get a COR. There I found that the auto gearbox had an oil leak, the rack ends of the steering had to be replaced and the front headlight right was loose and the brackets broken. Must be replaced. I complained to Cyril about everything but he never told me to return the car to him. It is in any way difficult to return a car that far so I just kept Cyril informed and he did not ever say I must return the car. Furthermore, I was still looking for the spare key of the car, the boot cover, and the owners and service books which I still did not get. The latest is now that Cyril and is company will not compensate anything because I had an mechanic to work on the car but they did not ever tell me not to do it or to return the car to him. And, apparently I can also forget about the books, boot cover and spare key which probably never existed yet I was told that he will look for it and let me have it. And then biggest problem of all: Cyril promised again and again to send me the transfer signed documents, but he did not keep any one of his promises. At the end I had to send my son from Johannesburg to him to demand the transfer documents. My son had to go again a second time before he got it. I would highly discourage anyone ever to do business with these people.

<p>I bought a car from Charl and Lisa but before I go ahead. Please let us stand together and take these people on via Carter Blanche etc as they manipulate and take people for a ride and abuse our rights. I bought a BMW for 110k and gave 40k deposit and paid 7550 per month with insurance included. I paid the car for 4 months and the car was written off in an accident. </p> <p>Now insurance want to pay out but Charl claim that I will get zero money in return and I owe him R108k for the vehicle but insurance is only paying R67k for the car. So I confronted him and he just said no I'm getting nothing and I can go see an attorney and waste my money as he will make sure I get nothing. So let us help each other as they have lots of issues and take honest people for a ride </p>

<p>I was contacted by Oriana in December 2016 advising that they would like to sell my car. I happened to stop at the dealership on an unplanned trip and met Roy, we had a quick chat, agreed on a price and T&Cs and I left the keys. I was paid the amount agreed on thge date agreed and had no hassles.</p> <p> </p> <p>I was concerned after reading the reviews here, its very unfortunate that some people had a bad time, but I can honestly say with my transaction all went as agreed and no issues whatsoever.</p> <p> </p> <p>CP </p>

<p>I had the misfortune of dealing with the cartique. </p> <p> </p> <p>I sold my car to them on the '60 day buy out' agreement with 2 defined payment dates for the vehicle. They honored neither the of the payment dates nor the 60 day agreement. I was only paid over the course of two months by means of 4 postdated cheques which took 10 working days to clear each time and these payments were only made after two separate letters from my attorney.</p> <p> </p> <p>I cannot stress how important it is to not deal with this organisation. The owner I dealt with was Roy and the sales person, who contacted me and lured me into the dealership, was named Oriana Bourne. Both these individuals lied to me numerous times.</p> <p> </p> <p>I would encourage others who experience this and read this review in hindsight to report this company to the Motor Vehicle Ombudsman as I have done. Perhaps if enough people complain something will be done about this. <p>I sold my car through Cartique nearly 2 months ago.</p> <p> </p> <p>Since then, I cannot get any documents or proof of the sale from them, and I'm still waiting for the money from the sale. They ask for 20 days for all the transactions to be complete (which is more than enough time), yet still I sit with not even a confirmation of the sale. I now have no car, no answers, no communication and no money.</p> <p> </p> <p>The owner is impossible to get hold of and their sales people duck and dodge every question. </p> <p> </p> <p>DO NOT USE THIS DEALERSHIP!</p>

<p>I bougth a car from the guy called charl at the cartique we did everything i paid the diposit of R30000 and all the paper work was done i was suppose to ricive my contract the same time but was told it will be emaild it has been a year now no contract. the car was not registed the disc was expired in 2015 he said he will register it but did not . I have went to him and he told me it is done i need to pay my fines to get the disc i paid and dicoved that the car is still registed under them and it has not been changed ,i called he does not pick up the phone i went to the office he was not there but if i pay late he has the nerve to turn off the car as if im not going to pay him .</p> <p>I have been paying all this time but still i cant drive the car that im paying for freely as the car is not registed and he had to do the registration i know we have a rent to buy contract but still I AM PAYING HIM SO HE MUST REGISTER THAT CAR AND GIVE ME THE **** .</p> <p>I gave him a client and she is also complaing abot him as she is still waiting for the cars books and he is not giving her.</p> <p>We are going to the spoeak out people and we are looking for to explain on how he treats Black people like this or is it that we are black and young i also want to go to the ombartsmen to get help about all this yes i love the car but PLEASE REGISTER THE CAR THAN I WILL DO MY ANNUAL RENEWAL MY OWN PLEASE IS THERE SOME ONE WHO CAN HELP US WITH THIS GUY??? </p>
