Do not ever pay them to collect you at an airport. They take your money and don't show up. It is a ****. What is even more disturbing was that the booking was made through the emirates airlines website and they take no responsibility for this *****ulent behaviour.

Even 1 star, is being linient a minus 5 star is what to rate them . They are the worst . Do not use this car services to rent a car online beware. Its difficult to get in touch with them. They refuse to refund n are very bad not proffessional nit customer consioys . They system is not the best. They allow your drivers licence details upon booking, to later say your licence must be 3 years to rent a car, but their system does not reject your licence upon booking , be ware multiple complaints regarding them. Rather call the airport car rental companies so to not end with disgusting worse hnproffesssional third party car rental providers such a car trawler

I booked a rental vehicle through them. upon collection i could not get the vehicle because my business cheque card was not accepted for the deposit by woodford. Woodford was unhelpful and referred me to the third party cartrawler. Cartrawler is so unprofessional you deal with them via whatsapp only. I requested for my booking to be transferred to another SP who's willing to assist me, Cartrawler said their system does not allow for it and they cannot do a refund. i was left woman alone in a foreign province stranded. This exact card is recognized as a credit card due to the type of chip it has. Just last month I have rented a vehicle from woodford in cape town with it and the deposit was held on the card, and what was left of it was released a few days later. when i told the woodford staff to check they responded by saying it shouldnt have happened. Everyone is nonchalont and edreams cars/cartrawler are just busy with ****gary. Everyone passes the buck because now cartrawler is saying they dont have control over woodford and woodford said they never received the money i should deal with cartrawler but they are all in partnership, surely my situation is not unique. DO NOT MAKE USE OF THEM, THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY AND ARE NOT INTERESTED IN THE WELL-BEING OF THEIR CUSTOMERS OR RENDERING A SERVICE

I booked a rental vehicle through them. upon collection i could not get the vehicle because my business cheque card was not accepted for the deposit by woodford. Left me stranded at Cape Town Airport as First Car Rental refused to ise my virtual credit card for witholding deposit or any other alternative payment. My refund request was referred back to booking agent which is cartrawler. Mohamed keeps sending automated email response with no further assistance. They steal people's money with unethical technical terms and conditions.

Very poor experience with from this company. Booked a car through them in and paid in advance. When we went to collect at the car hire company they refused to provide the car. We then fortunately got another car from a local competitor car hire company at our additional cost. When I afterwards wanted to get a refund from Car Trawler they delayed with every tactic and kept me waiting for over 5 months of unnecessary argument and frustration. I will never deal with this company again

My Predicament Good Day Hagar Somehow I deleted your first mail. I’m not sure where you got the info from stating that you require a Doctor’s Note in Portugal. I returned the car because I was unable to safely drive through traffic as I can from a country that are “Right Hand” drive, and I am 68 years of age. We met up with a Traveling Group that we travelled with. So out of the fourteen days hire I had the car for Two days and travelled around 35 Km (From the Airport to our Hotel) so I would appreciate it if you could readdress my request for a rebate for the remaining days There Response Not Refunding you as out T&C indicate our position My Review Noted will relay this non accommodative stance on social media to warn traveller’s not to be caught up in my dilemma. So the secret is no to deal with TAP utility providers and in particular with CarTrawler with reference to my predicament. The massage is third party utility providers looks at driving volumes and not customer support. If you were just a bit more sensitive with my problem you could have at least considered a 50% refund but your business is definitely not to please or be accommodative

This company is the worst car rental service company I have ever come across. They are rotten to the core, no business and customer values. I do not understand what business they have with South African car rental companies when they are based in Europe and all they do is take people’s money then ghost them. I want my money, to this date I have not received a car or a refund. I booked a car via them for Hertz car rental. Firstly they do not communicate with Herts to check if the car is available, secondly they do not know the Ts and Cs of Hertz car rental. They just want you to push the payment button. This is what happened to me and when I arrived at Hertz office in Monument Krugersdorp, Herts had no car and I had to be checked if I qualify for the car rental. This disclaimer should be the first thing Cartrawler- CarTrash should have on their website. I want my money you scammers. You are good for now cos you have NO OFFICES BASED IN SOUTH AFRICA!!! Otherwise you were gonna feel my wrath!!!
