Solar power batteries
This company, previously known as Compu-Power, installed an 8KVA backup system at my house in October 2015. The installed system included 8 X C&D SCH12-FT200 batteries. Besides the advertised and promised life of 10 years, these batteries only lasted 2 years and 7 months whereafter the company replaced the batteries with, and supposedly only temporarily, with 16 X C&D SCH12-FT100 batteries. These “temporary” 16 X C&D SCH12-FT100 batteries have never been replaced despite my numerous e-mails and correspondence to the company since 2018. These 16 X SCH12-FT100 have now also packed up after only 2 years of service. No indication by the company to rectify their default!!!!
