BEWARE OF THIS CAR DEALER

THIS USED CAR DEALER CANNOT BE TRUSTED. They advertised a car on Automart. My son went to look at it and liked the car. He requested an AA test to which they agreed. He was asked to pay R1500 up front for the test and they would go and do the test the following morning. NO sales agreement was signed. By the following morning we had decided not to take the car as there was NO service record. We contacted the dealer as they opened in the morning and before the car was taken. He said its fine but could only refund R350 as he has already paid for the test at Dekra Edenvale. When we contacted Dekra they had NO booking and NO payment ( and the test is only R680).When we contacted the dealer he said he had already paid the R350 back to us and put the phone down on me. NO MONEY was ever deposited .He took R1500 for showing us a car. Just as well we didn't purchase through them !
