Absolutely terrible service at the Table Bay mall. She refused to even look at my phone and just sucked something out her thumb, even when I tried to show her what was wrong.so rude. Won’t bother trying tha store again.

Blew up my motherboard. Insisted I pay for the repair anyway. Months later, after legal letters, replaced the phone with a device that had a broken screen and camera (the two things I paid for) PLUS a broken home button and pockmarked casing. Completely ignored subsequent legal letters and complaints to consumer ombudsman. Thinks they are above the law and I am sure they will respond to this complaint with a lame excuse or trying to blame the customer, as I can see on ALL the complaints on here. Rude immoral owner.

Blew up my motherboard. Insisted I pay for the repair anyway. On the 14th Aug 23 I booked my phone in at Cellphone Surgeon Tablebay Mall as I needed a new lcd and battery for my IPhone X. Only then was I informed that the battery would be generic,which I was fine with but I opted for the original lcd. That same evening I collected the phone just after 6pm and was told to use the phone until the battery runs flat and only then to charge the phone. The only thing that needed to be repaired on the phone was the lcd and a new battery,nothing else was wrong with the phone. So I get home and start setting up the phone , only to discover that my facial id wasn’t working,which was strange as it was working perfectly fine before I took the phone in to have a new lcd and battery fitted. I then took the phone back the following morning,very upset and they booked the phone back in. Later that afternoon their Technician phoned me and gives me some explanation that the Facial Recognition just stopped working on it’s own and this sometimes happens..he also tells me that he opened the phone and he couldn’t see any damaged caused to anything. I told him I will come and see him the following mng (16/0&/23) .In this time I had done some research of my own on the internet as well as speak to Manager and Technician at Istore who had all confirmed that the facial id does not just stop working for no reason…they had stated that the Technician must have damaged the sensor while opening the phone because there is no way that Facial ID can stop working for no reason especially when it was working perfectly fine before that Technician touched the phone. So when I speak to the Technician face to face,the only explanation he can give me is that the Facial ID stopped working on it’s own and it sometimes happens…which is BS. He refuses to take any responsibility that he damaged something and said he can’t fix it but it will have to get sent away and they won’t cover the costs. He then continued to say that what he can try is to uninstall the software on the phone and reinstall it and maybe it would work,which is also BS b cause if the sensor got damaged,that is a hardware issue and not a software issue. I had also emailed the owner…which by the way hasn’t even bothered to reply to me..that says alot. It is now the 17/08/23… I still haven’t received any update on my phone but I will not accept people not taking responsibility for their incompetence and mistakes..I will make sure Cellphone Surgeon gets held accountable. I never pd money to have 2 things replaced and another thing damaged / broken. I will not rest until they get held accountable,not only for me but for all the other customers that got ****med and **** to by them.

My Galaxy Note 8's broken screen was fixed and a new battery installed, and the phone was couriered back to me within a week from when I first contacted them. The phone is working as new.

I got my iPhone screen repaired in June, not even 3 months later my screen was broken again. There is a 12 month warranty regarding the screen repair but apparently the damage was not under warranty - how convenient. The technician could not give any indication what this so called damage was and I am well aware that I had done nothing to my screen. There is no after sale customer care and their 12 month warranty is a sham. DO NOT RECOMMEND and if there was an option I’d give Cellphone surgeon 0 stars.

If I could rate this lower I would. I bought a usb cable from them for R199 and it broke 2months later. It was advertised at AAA grade but is clearly very cheap if it was that fragile. I went in store yesterday with my receipt and my baby and they refused to replace it. The owner is extremely rude,he said that if he had to replace every faulty product he would be bankrupt and I should contact his suppliers. He spoke over me the entire time and accused me of been negligent. He further sent somebody over to my YouTube channel to call me entitled and tell me that nobody cares whether I had to go in store with my new baby. If expecting the quality I paid for makes me entitled then I guess I am. I work very hard for my money,I don’t scam people. His own employees agreed that it should have been replaced and said that they are embarrassed with the way he handled me as a customer. Would not recommend sending a dime there!!
