I purchased RenoCrete & PoolCrete from Cemcrete in Montague Gardens, for my new pool & pond. I purchased extra bags to ensure I did not run out. I received such friendly service and advice from Penny Vice and the sales team. They also refunded me the unused stock that I returned. The Cemcrete products are excellent, the sales team are friendly & professional and I would thoroughly recommend Cemcrete. Thank you kindly.

The technical support by Cemcrete after lodging a complaint about the quality of their product which was applied by one of their recommended contractors is shocking. It is now over 6 months that we have had our kitchen floor done. The floor failed to harden as promised, scuffed when moving appliances into position easily after the curing and hardening period was supposed to be completed after several weeks, required going on hands and knees to clean up dirty marks, had to be redone with the same outcomes. Complaints were lodged with all parties concerned with all documents and timelines provided as requested. To date there has been no resolution or offer of compensation for the considerable inconvenience caused by using Cemcrete's product. At this late stage in the year because my wife deserves a kitchen she can work in without fearing the consequences of messing on the floor which looks disgusting, I am having to consider laying floor tiles to hide this shocking outcome. The floor was intended to be the focus after spending a huge amount on the renovation of our kitchen. It is an embarrassment and detracts from the superb work done by everyone else. To date there has been no reassuring response from Cemcrete. No one should ever be subject to this kind of treatment from a supplier who should be standing by their product and satisfy the customer. Despite being asked to come and inspect the floor themselves there has been no effort to do so and all attempts at resolution have been via emails and attached photos which is most frustrating. I swear never to recommend this product to anyone and will most definitely ever use it again even if it is the only product on the market. Dried cow dung would be a better finish.

We were so much looking forward to redo our floors! First Cemcrete contractor ran away with people's money. Luckily, we hadn't paid our deposit yet. Second contractor did a ****ty job, blaming cracks on our poor substrate. They redid the job and renewed some of the substrate and yet, the cracks are worse than before. Cemcrete were not helpful at all and sent a standard reply, since they are fully aware that their product is kak! Stay away!

Please can you respond with any proof where your company actually gave me anything free of charge?? One of the companies which you supply actually picked up the slack and tried to keep the customer happy... Have you any idea what labour costs and the amount of water(which cost money) it takes to fix your mess?? Please a challenge in front of the public-prove what you gave me free of charge

High Quality products, low low service. Rather throw companies that give them business under the bus even when they KNOW they're product is to blame. It wasn't even a big deal either they could of just told the client that marbelite has calcium and it creates a white film over the surface (They're website mentions it) however they told the client that we are to blame and we had to shell out money for a job that came out perfect and normal. I probably know more about their product than them since I use literally everyday.

I wish I read the reviews on hellopeter before I made the decision to go with them. I ended up experiencing similar problems and even worse ones. I made use of one of their official, and one would believe trustworthy, applicators, Harry Nel. He was totally unprofessional and it came out that he never kept an eye on the people working for him, which left them to do the job however they feel like, as he dropped them in the morning and picked them up after each working day. More issues started popping up as we approached the end of the renovation as his workmanship was just plain garbage. He never wanted to put in expansion joints or any such measures that I wanted him to. He said the floor would never crack and if it does, it would be small hairline cracks after a very long while. After two weeks the floor started to crack and it has just gotten worse and still continues to. He also did my pool and that was also a stuff-up! Had to get professionals in to fix it. Harry Nel has since disappeared and refuses to take responsibility. I then got the cemcrete evaluator in to inspect and write up a report concerning this situation. The report points to very bad workmanship and that the standard of the work is very low at some areas of the house and that he should have put in expansion joints. I contacted Arran Comaroff at their head office to try and get answers and for someone to take responsibility for this mess that is a cemcrete situation. I still have all the evidence of the work done, emails and the report. One week ago he told me that someone will contact me and more than a week later it still has not happened. I strongly advise people to reconsider making use of cemcrete as these reviews serve as an accurate indication of how cemcrete does business. They will not take responsibility for their so called approved applicators, so who knows if it's maybe not also their product. Don't go according to them saying 20 years of experience and it being a good product. I will gladly show anyone the product that I now sit with as it was a total waste of money and I could have benefited more from that money if I used those bank notes as firelighters.

Beware!! Did a big job in Balitto KZN and the product failed dismally. It’s not durable and can not withstand the KZN weather. Also they are represented by Clive Stricker of Cemcoatings who misrepresented the product and is nowhere to be found. STAY AWAY!! Legal action also pending on Clive Stricker and Cemcoatings. Product doesn’t work for KZN outdoors!!!
