My D5 gate motor was ****** and was replaced by the newer D5 gate motor model. Don't touch the ****, It is consistently failing.I have replaced the battery 4 time, called out the so called specialist that installed the junk. He was puzzled...All he wanted to know is did I reset it. Centurion are trying to be all things to all men. If someone knows of a better type of gate motor, I'm all ears. This D5 motor is so erratic in operation that I've decided to return the piece of junk........ what a load of ******* they sell no days

I have never had as many issues with a gate motor as I do with my Centurion D5Evo. It is constantly playing up despite being fitted by an expert. I even fitted a surge protector to remove that as an excuse for causing a fault due to loadshedding and still the PC board has issues. I have had to take the board in for replacement and/or repair five times on a brand new motor. LIke clockwork every six months the motor stops working. Each time a different component on the PC board is blamed. These motors by definition stand outside in the weather, why all the issues?

On Friday 24 Nov 2023 I left Parys with a faulty gate motor. According to my GPS I would have been at Centurion Gate motors Boksburg at 15:00. Unfortunately it took me almost an hour to travel from van Buren through Gillooly`s intersection to the Edenvale off ramp due to an accident at Jet Park off ramp. I got off the freeway to find and alternative route. At 15:59 I was still four and a half kilometers from Centurion. I phoned them and explained to Nelson my dilemma. He agreed to wait for me so that I could book the motor in. I have entered the building five minutes after closing time where Nelson was waiting for me. He took the motor and Lerato entered the info on the computer. With such outstanding service, how could I not rate them five star. I would recommend any person whom might have a problem to make use of their excellent service. Thank you Nelson and Lerato

This brand is an entry level product. This gate motor has ceased to operate on so many occasions that we have lost count. The motor has only worked for one month without breakdowns in the 2 years we have had it. When it fails to work, this means we have NO ACCESS onto our property, as it is the only entrance. Useless, junk and may I mention that the App to override this product is also NOT working at the moment. AVOID AT ALL COSTS !!!!

I would like to commend Centurion Gate Motors Pretoria for their excellent friendly service. While recently being served, I noticed the patient way in which their technical personnel treated all the customers at the counters. Their very good technical capabilities and troubleshooting skills solved my problem in a very short time free of charge. I could also see the other customer were very pleased with their results. I would definitely recommend Centurion Gate motors based on their outstanding after sales support.

Absolutely pathetic. The guy goes by the name of Mr Fana. He promised for more than 2 months to send me a report explaining the reason for the replacement of the PC board which I needed to claim from the insurance. I am still waiting. Don't use him!

Perfect user interface on the D5 Evo gate motor #kudos, but honestly guys, where was your design team when a gate motor can only run on a battery. It does not make sense that when I have 100% mains that my gate would open/close abnormally if my “backup battery” is not fully charged!! I did myself the favour after the mains came back on after a 6 hour power out to remove the battery to charge it, guess what? the whole circuit board went dead...which tells me your design draws power via the battery, how stupid is that!!! Isn't the battery supposed to the the backup?? You seriously owe every Centurion Gate Motor person in SA living with load shedding an explanation. Sies!
