Took 4 mags to be repaired after having put 4 new tyres on as well. Vehicle was returned after experiencing shuddering/bouncing on wheels. Upon inspection they found that they were not at fault except for one mag which they repaired. Blame was put on the new tyres. Tyres were taken for inspection and no faults identified. Took vehicle to another repairer due to the unsatisfactory reception on my complaint and statements that there was nothing wrong with their work. The Repairer found 3 mags still at fault and were repaired correctly which solved the problem.

AMG 21" I hit a pothole, The Rim was handed in for repair. Be careful when collecting. While you settle your bill the staff removes the spare and mounts the "repaired" rim. From there I went to fit new tyres Supplier showed me the rim is not true. I take" it back for 2 reasons 1 the rim is not fixed and there is over-spray on the black rim of a white color. I go back to Centurion Mag Repair they offer to fix both. 2 Days later I collect the rim. I stopped the staff from mounting the rim and requested the wheel to be put on the balance machine. The lady from the shop instructs me to leave the work area, I ask her how should I see if the rim is true from the outside of the work area. I stay and the rim is still not correct I put my finger on the bead lip and it bounces on the defect. She accuses me of moving my finger and calls the manager, I show him the same, and he tests the rim and yes it is still not true. He responds "This is the best I can do" and walks away. I left and took it to Reliable Mag Repair Centre Midrand 2 technissions indicate the rim is not true and that the inside bead lip has been cut so much it is below the save margin. [bead lip is the lip that holds the tyre on the rim] They can not repair the rim I need to replace it. Mercedes Qute R 32k for 1 rim.

Both experiences were great at the Polokwane branch. They go above their normal service. The first time the owner was willing to assist me when they were actually closed. The second time the owner delivered the wheels to me personally as I was in a bind to collect it in time and I live far from Polokwane. Their quality and prices are also good.

We send our mag in for repairs, the wheel was taken off, the spare was put onto the car and we were told we could leave. No documents were issued were we signed for what was taken nor to prove that they have anything from us. They verbally confirmed that the mag would take about 3-5 days for repair, in 2 weeks we had no word from them. When we pitched up to see if it's ready for collection, the cap with the logo of the car that comes on the mag was missing. The owner had a very bad attitude towards us saying it is our own problem and that we have thrown it away as his policy is that he does not take the caps. Now I am a woman who knows nothing about wheels and cars, I stopped there, they took off my wheel and put the spare on and said I can go, what on earth would I want to do with a logo cap. I was not handed anything. When my husband called them the owner was very unfriendly and said he does not care and dropped the phone on my husband while talking. This is the worst service I have ever had, now my car looks bad and it will cost me R300 to replace.
