I've had an excellent experience with Centurion Motor Engineering (CME)! Their team is incredibly friendly, professional, and always willing to go the extra mile. From the moment I walked in, I was treated with respect and clear communication. The service was top-notch, and the pricing was very reasonable—no hidden surprises, just honest work at fair rates. If you're looking for reliable automotive repairs or servicing with great customer service and fair pricing, I highly recommend CME. It's refreshing to deal with a workshop that truly values its customers!

Around 23 February 2025 I towed my second vehicle, a Ford KA to CME as the car broke down and did not want to start. I knew that is was related to overheating and also that there was most likely a major issue with the engine as a result. I was given a quote of R 42,000.96 to repair the car. Please note that the value of the vehicle is not near that. It included quite a lot of items, some of which I believed was not necessary. The car was towed to M.A.T. Mobile Service and I was informed that the quote that I received was not reasonable. The engine was checked and after being taken for engineering as required all was re-assembled and the final amount came to R25,000.00. I know different providers will have different costs, and I would understand a 25% difference, but being quoted 68% more is unreasonable. As CME initially looked at the car, stripping the engine I was charged R4282.05 to get the car released. I admit there was time spent, but even this is overcharging. I also need to mention that CME did tow the vehicle to my house when released at no cost, but when the work on it started, they did not send the head and parts with the car. I would NOT RECOMMEND that anyone uses CME.

Don't take any weld work to them cause they can't do it...you'll end up waisting your time and money and sit with an end product that looks like a minor did the workmanship...

The worst service ever. One of their employees scammed me off more than R15000 for engine overhauling and refurbishing. I made the Centurion Motor Engineering management aware of this and nothing was done. The employee was in uniform, and using the company car. The management exempt themselves from this incident.

I have serviced 2 cars at CME - Centurion Motor Engineering and had the following bad experiences after I have spent more than R30 000 on repairs: • They made a dent in one of the doors, which they fixed but I was without a vehicle for more than a week • Had to take the one car back with problems with the repair they have done, again without a vehicle (now this problem is back again which will cost me another R7 500) • They lost one of the car mats and first refuse to replace it, then offered to manufacture one because of the cost R 1200 and it is now more than 3 months and they have not yet delivered on this promise All I can say they are not trust worthy and delivery poor services and repairs and I will not recommend for anyone to make use of their services

I took my car in to Centurion Motor Engineering for a major service in Dec Jan 2016, my speedometer and petrol gauge worked fine when I took the car in, when I collected the car from them the speedometer and petrol gauge no longer worked properly, I told them I would bring the car back in Jan as they were closing, after bringing the car back they now say it is wear and tear on the car and want to charge me R1500 on top of the R18000 I already paid, I feel this is extremely unfair as everything was working fine when I brought the car to them, they refuse to help me and I have no money left to spend on the car, also when they did the service they did not even test the car, because if they did they would've noticed the speedometer is not working or the fuel gauge, I can't believe I have to pay for there mistake

I recently took my Chev Captiva to CME for a broken Cambelt Tensioner, which resulted in damage to my engine head and some bended valves. I made contact with CME and explained exactly what the issue was and requested a quote to repair the necessary damage. After two weeks of follow ups I eventually got a quote back, where I was informed that the vehicle needs a total engine overhaul, Cost R76k. Knowing that that wasn't the case I requested the vehicle to be towed back to my house. It as now come to our attention that CME stripped my entire engine (which wasn't my instruction) and left all the parts in the back of my vehicle. The took out my entire gearbox and also stripped my air-conditioning system. These unauthorized actions by CME have now resulted in further costs, such as gassing of the aircon, re-attaching the entire vehicle mechanisms. On top of that I had to pay them a stripping fee. They also advertise that they do the necessary research to get the best part prices. It seems that they only manage to find parts from the tactual Chev supplier. I easily manage to find cheaper parts. Why couldn't they just quote me for the actual damage parts?
