The service is very bad. My daughter has been using the student accommodation for 5 months. We have been reporting issues related to maintenance for month without any resolution. My daughter has been sleeping on a broken bed and is now having back issues which affects her health. The roof has been leaking and still not repaired, it leaks directly to her study desk which resulted in the rain damaging her laptop. This place has become a nightmare for her because it affects her studies.

From the website up to getting an agent to assist you, all of it is the worst service ever! Almost none of the listings on the website is available. So to get an agent to assist you you must message the agent listed at the specific query number. They do not get back to you. If you sent a Whatsapp they either read it but do reply, refer you the some other agent who then refer you again to some other agent or their messages do not deliver or they do not even answer their phones. It almost seems as if they really do not want to assist you. If it is like this when you are still before you have even signed a contract I would be afraid to ask how the service is after singing a contract.

It is the worst and most arrogant agents I have ever experienced. They made appointments with me for future tenants to come view the apartment and never showed up on multiple occasions and never let me know they weren’t coming any more. When asked about it the agent said she never made an appointment and that it was someone else but i have it on WhatsApp that it was her. Ignoring messages from us. They went into the apartment without my consent or knowledge and changed the locks before i even moved out and while i wasn't there. They don't answer any of our calls now and deducted money from the deposit and don't want to give an inspection report of what was wrong after i moved out of the apartment. They did an inspection when i moved in and the day i moved out they said they are going to do an inspection at 9 and i said i won't be done by that time but never responded to our message and did the inspection while i was busy moving out saying i only have an hour to be out. I have a 100 photos to prove the status of the apartment on the day that i moved in. My advice is that nobody do business with Century 21 Potchefstroom.

Horrible service, for the past month, we've been trying to get assistance with quires we made when my little brother moved-in in January, to date there hasn't been a resolution, I tried calling several times and the manager refused to speak to me, on Friday the 16th of February, I drove all the way to their office because my younger brother hasn't had water for over 120 hours and they aren't willing to assist, his stove isn't working, geyser isn't working, and the list goes on The stuff is hostile and unwilling to assist, yet they are so quick to accept money.

My experience with century 21 Potchefstroom Student Hub has been highly unpleasant for the past 3 years. I have stayed there since my first year in NWU. I have had 3 different agents for each of those 3 years. The last one (2023) was the worst agent I have had. His name is Sean and he was assigned to be my agent for 2023 He has never availed himself to me or to let me know that he was my agent for 2023. He never answered my messages whenever I needed help. I was assisted by another agent (Aldin) who has helped me throughout 2023. I paid my shortfall and had a credit of R171 according to my student account and my proof of payment. The finance team/Sean never refunded me that amount. Another issue was that I have not received my refund (R1000 processing fee) as it was stated on the contract that tenants will get it back after moving out. I have not received for both 2022 and 2023. Another issue was that Century 21 charged all four tenants (including myself) of unit (we shared a kitchen and used one microwave) more than R2k each for a damaged microwave and for then painting walls. We or rather I did not receive a maintenance report because I did not move out. I found this confusing because when I got back in 2023, the microwave that they supposedly replaced was still there. Century 21 has failed many students such as myself and is not transparent with the payments. My former agent also told me that NSFAS didn't pay rent for a certain month. When I asked which month that was, he said " I'm not sure". Last year, I set up an inspection appointment and no one showed up. I had to urgently leave so my agent said they'll do inspection when I have left and the contract states that both parties have to be present for inspection.
