Get a price upfront

CHL Dream Living came highly recommended by someone on Facebook so I contacted Tiri to come install a new electric fence energizer which I bought. He sent someone that day who struggled to find the problem for an hour. After a while i suggested he check the fuses which he did and turned out that was the problem. Perhaps they broke in transit. The person spent a total of 2,5 hrs at my house. When I received the invoice was about double what I expected for the work. I pleaded for something more reasonable, but Tiri didn't budge. He added 2 extra very small tasks to the bill which were both work suggestions that I made to help the technician. No good deed goes unpunished. I acknowledge my mistake of not getting a price beforehand so i paid in full but I'm here to warn others to make sure you get a price before the work starts. Needless to say I wont recommend these guys.
