Christos removals is the worst place to store goods
Worst place to store, all my boxes ******, 2 double beds gone, custom made chairs gone, the rest of my goods are so damaged its beyond use, made payments every month witout fail and got ****med in return,i made a case at the police but the court diamissed the case on the same day.worst mistake ever to put my goods there

Missing goods during move
There contract states that it's the customers duty to check the loading and offloading of goods. Basically the customer has to monitor the staff. I tried to but once I started unpacking found out a number of items missing. The owner Gavin is not interested.

Extremely disappointed and Disgusting services
I just want to lay a complain about Christo Removals. My daughter has contacted them in order to move our furniture on the 2nd March 2019. The company has agreed to move it, gave her options to pay and said if there's anything else they needed to know, he would contact her. On Saturday at the truck never arrived. When she phoned him, he said: "Who's this?" She told him she booked the truck to move our goods to the new place, then he said that my daughter hasn't confirmed with him and he's on his way to Centurion. After 10 minutes of conversation, he was very abrupt and rude to her. Now at that stage we've been in deep trouble cause it was our last day and we had to be out of our flat. This isn't professional, not after the way he treated my daughter! Please people, don't ever go through this company! The guy also told my daughter she never confirmed with him where as nothing like that has been even mentioned on the phone or emails. This is truly disgusting and I hate it if people are so dishonest!

Stolen items from my sealed boxes
<p>Please do not use Christo's Removals. They stole a whole lot of items from my sealed boxes and then resealed the boxes. I moved a road away and they made a stop for absolutely no reason. When I went to find out why they stopped, they saw me coming and started driving again. I opened a case against them, but they know they can get away with it. Please dont use them ever!!!! My kids playstation, and a list of about more or less 20 items went missing including an entire small box.</p>

Cleaning services are overrated
<p>Paid R1950 for 3 people to clean a 2 bdrm 1 bthrm apartment. Moving day would be following day with the same company, so it would be safe to assume that the company is aware that everything will still be in home boxed and waiting for move.<br />Upon arrival they were shocked that home is not empty. Team started cleaning but I was soon to discover that because they will be moving boxes around this would have been an extra charge of R1000- which was waved after discussion with Martie.<br />Only the bare minimum cleaning was done; <br />Walls were not cleaned, carpets were not cleaned (this is extra) carpets were not vacuumed (their machine broke day before) the carpets were sweeped with a broom.<br />Kitchen cupboards were only cleaned on inside (2 drawers skipped)<br />They did not have proper cleaning equipment, used my window washer & returned it the following day after taking it with.<br />The staff were friendly but because of my assumption that this is a speciality cleaning service and paid so much for it, I had to wash my walls and vacuum my carpets.<br />The estate agent that did inspection upon leaving apartment said that she was shocked and apauled by the terrible cleaning service at the exorbarent charge. She pointed out that for that amount of money they would at least expect the carpets to be washed and the walls cleaned. The light fixtures were not cleaned, which I did not even think about until she pointed it out.<br /><br />This has cost me fees to be deducted from my deposit for cleaning for the next tenant and R1950 upon that.<br /><br />At the end of the day I feel I could have hired a maid, paid her R 200 for the day and receive better cleaning.<br /><br />The movers were friendly and helpful, no damage to any of my property or items.<br /><br /></p>
