They were quick to start the job and quick to collect the money. They finished a 2 week job in 6 days, working only until 2pm. There was no supervision. After being paid in full my partner went into the ceiling to for an unrelated reason, only to find a mess in the ceiling, a fire hazard in fact. I called Conrad, and he came and sorted out the mess. At this time we also found out that a huge section of the roof did not have underlay - about 15% - which he said was because they were unable to lift the tiles as they were glued together. This was not told to me when he collected final payment. It wasn't long when a barge board was ripped off by the wind - which he came to fix - but in such a shoddy manner, I was not very pleased. This all happened in Dec 2019. In May this year we had a heavy rainfall and it streamed into my bedroom where there had never been a leak before. I contacted him and he said he would come and look. After a second call he came around - said he would come the Tuesday with a worker, but never did. By the end of that week we had gale force winds and another barge board blew off and broke. When I contacted him he told me it was gale force winds and he blocked me. And since then another barge board has blown off. What had happened for it to rain into my bedroom was that his guys had removed the "pap and lap" that was on the ensuite to do the underlay, but never replaced it. Also the barge boards were not propertly fixed afterwards. When they were put on they were welded together and tightened well. His workers did not tighten the barge boards well as they seem to have used the same *****s in the same holes. The eaves are loose and that has also now been damaged from the elements. I am so frustrated. It feels my house is falling apart. I'm so scared the next barge board that rips off hurts a dog or child or damages my car. I don't have the funds to get this sorted myself and my insurance is declining the claim because they are saying it is a maintenance issue.
