I recently financed a 2025 Toyota Starlet. From the start the team was extremely professional and efficient. I wanted the process to be speedy and Michael and his team did not disappoint! They introduced me to Cartrack and even that installation was done before I could say the word. I can't wait to drive this beauty straight into the new year! Very impressed.

City Ride My Cars sold me a Hyundai Grand i10 (full cash) on 29 July 2024. They assured me it had only minor cosmetic repairs — nothing serious. We asked multiple times and the sales agent, Mpumi, confidently swore there was no major damage. Turns out, that was a complete lie. 2 days later, Dekra and Tyre&More both confirmed the car has a welded chassis — something that’s not only dangerous but basically renders the car ******* and unfit for Uber (which is the whole reason we bought it). I contacted them immediately — 3 days after purchase — and they dragged me for weeks. I only got to speak to the manager a full month later, and he told me, laughing: “You can cry wherever you want, nothing will happen.” 🤯 What kind of business talks to a customer like that? They promised to resell the car on my behalf (and take a commission, of course), but never listed it anywhere. I checked every week. Eventually, my wife pretended to be a buyer and called Mpumi — and guess what? Mpumi told her the car is already sold! So they’re lying to me and hiding the car, hoping I’ll give up. I took the matter to MIOSA. The dealership ignored every email and deadline. I’m not asking for miracles. I just want my refund; that’s it. I’m not asking for favors. I want what’s fair: you sold me a car that is dangerous, unusable, and *******ly repaired, and you refuse to take accountability. City Ride My Cars is a **** operation with zero ethics. Be warned — they’ll smile while they rob you.

Title: ⚠️ Cautionary Tale: My Experience with [City ride my cars] Hey everyone, I need to share something crucial about my recent car-buying experience with [City ride my cars]. Buckle up, because this is a wild ride. So, I snagged an Audi A1 from them on January 16, 2024, thinking it'd be a smooth deal. The ad said the car had 86,329km on it. But, surprise surprise, turns out there's some shady mileage business going on. These guys work under the "park and sell" deal, but let me tell you, there's more going on behind the scenes than meets the eye. I found out the hard way when my car's odometer was all messed up. When I confronted [City ride my cars], their excuse was that the previous owner said they changed the instrument cluster, and oops, they forgot to update the mileage. Yeah, right. Now, here's the kicker. I asked for a refund of R138,047 – the total I dished out for the car, plus travel, parts, and repairs. And guess what they suggested? I should pay to bring the car back to them, and they'd sell it again in my name. Like, really? To keep it super simple: [City ride my cars] messed with the mileage on my car, blamed the old owner, and won't make things right unless I jump through hoops at my own expense. My advice? If you're thinking of dealing with these guys, think twice. Check everything, ask for all the paperwork, and be careful. There are better, more honest dealerships out there that won't pull this kind of stunt. Stay savvy, friends! [Henrico Meyer]
