We have been renovating the past 3 years. So far 3 phases. Each phase we used the same painting contractor. Bought the paint (Plascon) at the same City paint and tool branch. Never had a problem until phase 3. 2 of our feature wasl the paint hasn't cure in certain sections even after more than a month. We keft the rooms for 4 days before we moved the furniture back in and even then only slept one night and then were away for a week. After a while we noticed the paint started peeling. You can scratch it off eith your nails. Plascon sent a technician out, but they just concluded that it is a high traffic area and normal. Like I said we used the same preparatiin process with the same contractor and none of our other walls does this. Plascon sent us a report that was very generalised and placed the blame on us. We rep**** with details that contraindicated their findings. Nor Plascon or City, Paint and tool had the decency to answer our email. No customer care or after sales support was given in this mateer We are highly disappointed with the procuct and after sales support

The sales lady was very knowledgeable and helpful. Suggesting the rep, Brent comes to assess the water damaged walls. Arrangements made. He promptly arrived with great advice. Kept in touch, even during and after the process.

Great appreciation to WAYNE CASLING, from City Paint. I want to take the time to thank you for your support, you always have natural strength in assisting and checking for me if there is a better price whenever we asking for assistance & discounts, you always making sure that you providing quality service at your shop. Thank you for your undying support, your passion in helping always. Your friendly service has not gone unnoticed, just by you giving support always when needed is crucial. Keep up the good work. Thank you Wayne you are highly appreciated.

City Paint and Tool supplies a very poor QDE / ADE / Alkyd paint. It is very thin (probably thinned out) and covers poorly. It contains dirt and impurities. Their colour matching is terribly and we often have tins with greatly varying colours in the same batch ordered. Complaints to their sales counter always falls on deaf aers. I will rather pay more and buy better quality paints somewhere else.

This is the worst experience I have ever had. I brought in my fender of my car to be colour matched... it came back with a deep long scratch and colour completely off. I took it back and had to pay for more paint and product. They 'fixed' the scratch. However the next set of paint still was not matched up correctly which I had to take back again... and still pay for more paint. I took in the whole car door as I was sure this would help match the correct colour... after trying 5 times over. Just to fetch the door which has now a long scratch in my Windows tint...and the paint once again not right. I have now spent thousands on wrong colour paint and two areas of my car which now has scratches. The owner is unprofessional and rude... I am the customer and a paying client. I should not have to pay for his mistakes. He forced us out the shop because he doesn't want to fix the scratches or match the correct colour I have paid for 5 times over. I would deff recommend rather going somewhere else. There is no customer care whatsoever.
