AWESOME SERVICE

WORST ESTATE AGENT
Wow what a horrific experience with this agency, never would i ever advise anyone to use them because clearly its all about the money they get out and not about customer service. So i bought a house through them. When seeing some of the issues with the property the agents reassured me that should there be disclosures not made that they will ensure that it gets sorted out with the conveyancers prior to the owner being paid out. Wow so from the time i bought the house i noticed a whole lot of latent defects and raised this with the CLE and the conveyancing attorneys. I got told that the owner is relying on the voetstoots clause ect ect. I believe that these CLE agents were just as deceitful as the owner and just wanted to get rid of the property. I am absolutely disgusted with their lack of empathy. Even during the process of waiting for registration, i had to keep asking questions which should have been disclosed to me prior to me even signing the offer to purchase. With all the promises they sold me, I am now sitting with endless issues and there is no empathy from CLE. They did not even do a follow up call after the previous owner refused to take responsibility for all the defects that we encountered. This has left a bad taste in my mouth to say the least. I sincerely hope that the agents i dealt with sleep easy at night.......

A property transaction that could have gone wrong
I recently bought a property through CLE Properties and Kobus Greyling was the agent who dealt with the transaction. It was an extremely difficult transaction but I cannot even begin to express my gratitude and appreciation for the manner in which Kobus authentically stood in the line of fire to protect the integrity of the contract regardless of the seller's attempts to renege on the initial agreement. I would have lost a lot in the deal because there were movable assets as well that the seller could have removed from the property if Kobus had not refused to be manipulated. May you continue to do for others what you did for me. Thank you!

A property transaction that could have gone wrong
I recently bought a property through CLE Properties and Kobus Greyling was the agent who dealt with the transaction. It was an extremely difficult transaction but I cannot even begin to express my gratitude and appreciation for the manner in which Kobus authentically stood in the line of fire to protect the integrity of the contract regardless of the seller's attempts to renege on the initial agreement. I would have lost a lot in the deal because there were movable assets as well that the seller could have removed from the property if Kobus had not refused to be manipulated. May you continue to do for others what you did for me. Thank you!

Extremely upset and unhappy tennants
We renting a house through Cle properties with the owner Pieter Du Preez in Bonaero park and the owner has not fixed the property since we moved in after several meetings to do so nothing has been done to date. My son ended up in hospital because the mold at the property affects his chest but nothing got done. We had set up dates for the repairs to be done which never materialized either. After we refused to sign the new lease until the repairs are done the owner and agent came to discuss fixing the property we were promised the repairs would get done and it never happened they only wanted us to sign a new lease and we are now being held randsom by the landlord to stay until 01st December, however he is in breach of the lease so we should actually be able to vacate the property and get our deposit back. We have cc,d Lawrence Khan the branch managerinto all the mails of the complaints and to date have had no response from him either. We have found another place to move to and now the owner wants to come fix the residence but we have been held liable to pay for the water bill every month after complaining about leaks on the property for months. We received a report from Hollard leak detection stating that there are leaks on the property but the owner denys knowledge of any leaks although we have it in black and white and it was sent to us by him. Now he wants to inconvenience us to fix in order to find new tenants. The property is not in a good state the kitchen cupboards are rotten from the mold, the fascia boards are falling off the roof there are leaks everywhere and the tiles are lifting yet the agency ignores all requests and does not support us at all. I have never rented a property and had this amount of problems where the owner does not want to fix the property and the agency does nothing. The owner blatantly sends sarcastic emails but he is in breach of the lease. It is our right to live in a residence that is in a suitable condition whilst we pay our rent every month. We were also illegally listed by the agency on ITC previously for late payment but was done before the 7th and was not an ongoing issue.This is the most pathetic agency I've ever dealt with and would not recommend that anybody use them when renting a property. They basically get paid comission to do nothing! They are clearly not aware of the tenant and landlord rights and obligations as stated by the rental housing tribunal. We have improved the property without any reimbur*****t and to date no response from the owner and the agency. Yet they want their rent paid on time every month to live in unlivable conditions. We have had to find a new place and have been inconvenience by moving all because neither the agency or the landlord have honoured the lease agreement. And then they still want us to stay the full two months to milk us for rent.

never rent from them
I rented a property from the 1st November 2018 but was handed over to lawyers for the 1st October rent. i have prove of all payments made and are still begging for my money back as it has mysteries disappeared when asked to please investigate it i was told no further entertainment on this subject will be handled. i moved out of the property end of April and have no got a final demand for rent for may and June. the people that work there are in have stolen R1810.00 of my money and now say it cannot be found. they are very rude so i have taken this further
