On Bosch’s recommendation, I purchased a replacement foot for my Bosch top loader washing machine on 25 August. I was promised delivery within 2–3 weeks once payment was made. Despite providing all the necessary details — including photos, the serial number, partner number, and a full explanation — I am still waiting for my part. Over the past eight weeks, I’ve received nothing but excuses and empty promises. No one ever follows up; I have to keep calling to find out what’s going on. After two months of relying on laundry services, I could have easily purchased a new machine instead. This level of service is completely unacceptable and extremely disappointing — especially from a brand like Bosch.

I loyally supported this business for 20 years during which time I purchased 2 large fridges, 2 washing machines, 2 hobs, 2 extractors, 2 vacuum cleaners, 1 oven and numerous small items, spares & repairs. They recently delivered a fridge & removed the old one but left deep long scratches on my wood floor. I reported this to the saleslady Bernadette and emailed pics to her. After about 3 weeks of no response I went there and she was surprised I hadn't heard from anyone, so I asked to see the owner or manager. I was sent to a Sebastian (manager) and I asked him to physically come see for himself. I had no idea of what I wanted from them - I just wanted someone higher up to come and see how bad it is. This should be very easy for them, as I only live 300 metres from the shop. Sebastian made an appointment to come see but called me that morning to say things were very busy and that he would come the next morning at 9am. He never pitched up. All I wanted was for them to see and let them offer to do something, if they would - I wasn't demanding anything. As a result of this failure to address the issue, I am not ever going to support that business again. You would think they would try harder (but I am not going to chase them any more....if they care, they will come running to me now - but I won't hold my breath) as they now have a Hirsch's down the road to compete with. I will go there and elsewhere from now on. Thank you for the 20 years of good service, but sorry, one big strike an you're out. Don't call me to come see now, you're no longer welcome in my home, you had your easy chance and you blew me off. Now you can only offer me money to fix this, nothing else.

Good day. I went to Claremont Home Appliances today to sort out my Electrolux vacume hose pipe. I was served by Michelle whom I received such friendly and of utmost excellent client service. She knew exactly what was wrong with my vacume and could immediately repair it back to it's full working state. I was so pleasantly appreciative how I was served and assisted by Michelle. She definitely is an asset as an employee at Claremont Home Appliances store. Regards Marina Voges 0662456727

Ordered and paid for an oven door 29th Nov. Only respond when I email saying out of stock, holidays etc.. Tried calling 5x, they put me through to a line where no one answers. Bad service ! I am still waiting for my part

What lousy Customer Service!!!!!! On the 3rd of December, I called about a part for our fridge. I was put through to the Service Department, where I held on for several minutes until the call was ended - unanswered!! I then called back and was pretty cheesed off. I told the Receptionist to please not transfer me again to waste my airtime. She proceeded to be quite helpful and took down my name, number, query and model number of the part I was requesting. She said that someone would call me back in the morning. By 2pm, the following day, I called back - only to be told that they hadn't as yet read their messages - someone would call me back. I AM STILL WAITING!!!!!!! Only in South Africa - really. Why are we so slack???? and why do we accept such mediocre service????
