Do not trust this Business - Clearline Appliances
I would not recommend this business, I phoned them for a fridge repair and they promptly came and "fixed" my fridge. I was told that it carries a 6 month garuantee on their work. 2 weeks later the fridge packed up, I phoned them and they came to assess, they spent 10 minutes and said they will be back later that day to repair it. They never came back, messages and phone calls were ignored. I had to phone on different phones to get through and was just led on with promises they will fix it, they never did. Shocking service and unreputable business.

Use Clearline at Your Own Peril
If you hear the name Simba or Matthew from Clearline Appliances beware you are in for a rough ride. In short, we had a problem with our Siemens Microwave and after finding a very credible website of Clearline Appliances I phoned and spoke to Simba, who assured me that they were accredited-Siemens agents. They came the same afternoon and told me that the motherboard needs to be replaced. I had to pay a deposit for them to purchase a new motherboard. Long story short, the experience was a nightmare with phone calls not being answered, messages ignored, and WhatsApp (their preferred mode of communication) often ignored. We went through an incredibly stressful period with half and vague messages and at times no communication for days. Their website is also **** as one of the telephone numbers doesn't exist and the physical address does not correspond with that on their invoice, which in turn cannot be found on Google Maps. The so-called manager, Ockert Gouws, was nowhere to be found and I suspect does not exist. Only when we threatened to lay theft charges with the police, did they eventually deliver the microwave via Uber (funny that they did not bring it themselves). Needless to say, still not working. Clearline Appliances are chancers without any integrity, Simba, and Matthew are as unreliable and plain dishonest as you can get.

Bad performance
A very bad experience and does not deserve one star!!! Called out and replaced two bulbs outside my house for R500 ( paid in cash)!! Only one bulb worked.. found out at night when security lights were supposed to light up. I have called, sent messages... No reaction. It is now 10 days and I feel totally insecure at night.

SCAMMER!! I wished we had seen this site before we hired these guys! Same story as all the others, they needed a deposit for parts but never delivered the part or returned the money. They stole 7000 from us.

Scammers. BEWARE
Total scammers. Beware! I was surprised at how quickly these guys came out to fix our Bosch Dish Washer. They said we needed a new pump and asked for money in advance to purchase said pump. Never heard from them again. Won’t pick up our phone when we try to call.

Total scammers. Beware! I was surprised at how quickly these guys came out to fix our Bosch Dish Washer. They said we needed a new pump and asked for money in advance to purchase said pump. Never heard from them again. Won’t pick up our phone when we try to call.

25 May 2021 I am looking for a new top freezer drawer for Model K1320BF (S). There is a man Simba from northern suburbs, Cape Town. I contacted him when he said he works for Kelvinator. under whose name he advertised. He said weeks ago he could find a replacement. He asked for payment and petrol money which I transferred into CLEARLINE APPLIANCES ( bank account FNB TABLE BAY, Account 62840525771, Code 250655); phone 078 569 2870; email nfo@clearlineappliances.co.za). Now he refuses to bring anything to me (either goods or my money back). Is there anything you can do about this liar and cheat? I phone him every day and listen to a different story. I am a desperate pensioner! Jenny Mostert
