Clearwater Pools Incompetance.
I had Japie Fourie from Clearwater Pools come out to renovate my existing fibre shell pool. From the get go, things went horribly wrong. It was blatantly clear that Japie and his team were woefully ***********. They struggled to reline the shell, couldn't manage groundwater incursion into the pit, took weeks to complete even basic challenges, had the pool shell in and back out of the pit 3 times because they didn't have the skill to align it correctly and when they finally did get the shell in, they failed to compact the sand around the pavers correctly. Now 6 months later, all of my pavers have cracked and fallen apart. The pool is a mess and I have to tear everything up and have it redone, costing me tens of thousands. As a cherry on top, Japie crashed into my gate with his bakkie. He did try and repair it but I had to insist that he complete that job properly as well, which took him 3 visits as well. Stay away from this contractor and his company, they are incredibly ***********.

Excellent customer service and top quality installation
We just finished having our brand new pool installed by Bertie Fick and his team from Clearwater Pools and we couldn't be happier. Bertie was always available to address any questions or concerns and really went above and beyond to ensure the project ran smoothly and resulted in a pleasant experience for our family. From the first phone call through to the end of the project, Bertie was efficient, accommodating and knowledgable. The quality of workmanship put into our pool is exceptional and our family is looking forward to many years enjoying it. Installing a pool at home should be an exciting time, not one filled with arguments with contractors and sub-par workmanship. Clearwater pools really delivered on that positive experience with their hard work, excellent communication and top quality end product.

Bertie was always available to address any questions or concerns and really went above and beyond to ensure the project ran smoothly and resulted in a pleasant experience for our family. From the first phone call through to the end of the project, Bertie was efficient, accommodating and knowledgable. The quality of workmanship put into our pool is exceptional and our family is looking forward to many years enjoying it. Installing a pool at home should be an exciting time, not one filled with arguments with contractors and sub-par workmanship. Clearwater pools really delivered on that positive experience with their hard work, excellent communication and top quality end product.

Bad service from Eric now working for Clear water pools
Hi I have had my pool fibre glassed by a guy by the Name Eric who works for clear water pools , please stay away from Eric he promises a lot and doesn’t keep his word , for over a year he has promised to fix my pool and coming up with excuses, Today he tells me he can’t assist me because his company is liquidated . This is Erics number please do not do any business with this man as i have all the messages to proof his a **** and con man. He even promised me a 10 year guarantee on the work he did on my pool. Eric has moved to Clear water Pools and doesn’t want to honor what he promised

Clearwater Pools Scamming agency
This is one of my worst experiences with a service provider. I had a pool installed by these scamming company. In less than a month the pool deteriorated to a state that it was unsafe for use. Numerous calls and mails with promises to to come and repair, it is now in an even worst state. Leaking, not level, artificial tile strips detaching and was installed afterwards to counter the out of kilter installation. The paving totally collapsed and the pump is sucking air. This is a close to R100.000.00 flop that I sit with and a company refusing to honor their workmanship warranty they so proudly display on their website. I am a pensioner and was brutally run in by this company. If you hear this Clearwater Pools name, run and run fast while you are ahead. Stay far away if you do not want to loose your hard earned money. This bunch will scam and rob you without thinking twice

Extremely BAD service and Workmanship
In December 2013 I got a pool installed by Clearwater Pools, the project manager was Matt Herbst and the Owner Gary Fourie.<br> On the 30th December 2013 a snag list was sent to both Gary Fourie and Matt Herbst.<br> Constant follow ups via e-mails was done during the months of January and February 2014, until a site visit was done on the 7th February 2014 by Clearwater Pools. During this site visit it was agreed that the necessary repairs be done in the winter months of 2014, as well as certain items that had not been installed be installed.<br> July 2014 I receive a call from a Gerhard at Penguin Pools to say they have taken over Clear Water pools and would be dealing with the matter in hand.<br> Received a claim form on the 14th July 2014 to complete and was duly done. JP du Plessis then said we should wait until end September to repair. In October a mail was sent to JP to find out what was happening. June 2015 my pool was drained and to date I am still without a pool and a pool that is standing open and not being able to use. Between Gary Fourie and JP du Plessis I am no further than I was , just now I have a non functioning pool

Awesome service from Clear water pools Limpopo
Clear water pools Limpopo repaired our pool between 5 and 9 April 2021, I just want to applaud them on a awesome job. They replaced all the pipes, replaced the weir and pipes in the pool box at the pump, fiberglassed, and painted it, they also supplied a new rail and smal step for easier access to the pool. These guys did a awesme job, thank you Chris Luus and your team for a job well done.

Clear water pools Limpopo repaired our pool between 5 and 9 April 2021, I just want to applaud them on a awesome job. They replaced all the pipes, replaced the weir and pipes in the pool box at the pump, fiberglassed, and painted it, they also supplied a new rail and smal step for easier access to the pool. Clear Water Pools East Rand
If anybody is contemplating using Clearwater Pools East Rand to install a new pool PLEASE think twice. Steven promises you the world and that he will be on site at all times from the time they start. Yes but he does not mention that only to drop off staff and then leave them unsupervised until late the day, when he arrives in a wirlwind and collects the staff and is gone. The workmanship is TERRIBLE and I cannot stress this enough and they have to re-do and re-do over and over and then it is still not the way you want it. Finally when you can fill the pool with water the marbelite is so rough they must come and sand it to make it smooth and the paving sinks that is supposed to be compacted and craks all over the place. Do not pay them anything until you are satisfied if you have signed a contract, and do not just sign with the promise of they will fill the details in cause the size of pool changes when you complain. A DISGUSTING AND UN-PROFESSIONAL COMPANY that is supposed to be associated with Penguin Pools.

We had our splash pool installed by the Clearwater Pools - Pretoria team. What a great experience!!! Bertie Fick made this journey a pleasant one and his colleagues supported him and JP all the way. Thank you for making this choice a "feel good" one, one that our family will always remember. Good job guys!!!
