Romantic Valentine's Weekend Ruined !!!

Let me start by saying that my Valentines day was ruined because of Club Mykonos.

1. Arrived on Friday Evening : First problem was that the sliding door of the room did not lock, had I not checked it our goods could have been ******, repair guys spent about 1- 1.5 hours getting a part and fixing it, also the mattress has a dented in spring on the one side but didnt think to much of it.

2. Because of there being a Triathlon event at the resort, all roads leading in and out was severely backlogged, as i left my unit at 10am to go get medicine from the Discem 3 km away, and the traffic marshalls literally didnt allow me to go into the center, they sent me all the way around the town to arrive on the other side of the mall only to proceed to tell me i couldnt access the road, back to where i started, this took me 2 hours and a 30 km Goose Chase with traveling to nowhere.

3. Once i arrived back at my unit at 12:00 , we were finally getting ready to go have lunch and have some fun activities. I receive a phone call on the room phone : "Hi there this is reception, can we send up a host to give you guys a breakfast voucher?" as my partner was still getting ready i said sure. This ended up being a 2 hour long seminar about ****ing time share from EKKO!!! *** !!! (by the way it's incredibly predatory and is a ****, Do Not, I Repeat ! Do Not Ever Accept This "Host" Call and They will not leave unless you give them a final answer and will go in circles trying to convince you and that free breakfast was tickets for a R100 voucher for the cheapest possible breakfast from the cafe)

The Repair guy also came back for the sliding door again during all this, without ever letting us know that they wanted to stop by, what if our valuables would have been ******?

4. Now at 14:00, still havent even had breakfast or lunch yet and havent done anything since arriving, decided to go to grab a bite to eat, we then called all the adventure and activity programs around and wouldnt you guess, THEY WERE ALL CLOSED! Not only for the rest of the day but nothing even left on the sunday, so we couldnt even do anything anymore.

5. After complaining to the front desk about what had happened they shifted blame to the Ekko for calling me, like how did Ekko know that we were at the unit at the time? How did Ekko have my rooms contact details? Surely Mykonos allows this behavior or if they dont, how are they not aware of this happening?

We decided to leave on Saturday Afternoon, as there was nothing left for us at Mykonos, Our entire valentine's weekend has been ****** from us due to bad event management, predatory salesmen and terrible room upkeep and inspection.

I would like to inform everyone who considers to come to this resort to please keep this in mind, Dont Ever book during an event EVER!!! , Dont Ever accept a call during your stay there EVER!!! and inspect all your doors and windows for broken locks.

**** you Club Mykonos! Time and Money wasted for your own Greedy pleasure! I will not be returning.
