I am extremely disappointed with the service received from Volvo Cape Town. The turbo on our Volvo XC40 broke at 100,400 km—just 400 km out of the service plan. We handed the car in on Thursday, 7 November, and despite this being our family car, we are still waiting for it to be fixed.
Initially, the service manager assured us that the car would be repaired within three weeks. We have paid deposits as required, but since then, we have been unable to get any meaningful communication regarding the repair timeline. No date has been provided for when the car will be ready, and we haven’t been offered a loan vehicle to accommodate our family’s needs during this time.
The lack of updates and the inability to commit to resolving the issue promptly is unacceptable. As a loyal Volvo customer, this experience has left us frustrated and questioning the brand’s commitment to customer service.
We urge Volvo Cape Town to take this matter seriously and provide a clear resolution timeline immediately. Failure to do so will only further tarnish our trust in the brand.
Please address this as a priority!
