HelloPeter (Maximum Impact, Public‑Facing) CMH East Rand Boksburg & Stellantis SA – Unacceptable 3‑Month Vehicle Downtime. After purchase at a dealer i was only driving it for 3 months. And been paying for more than 6 months now. I am lodging a formal complaint against CMH East Rand Boksburg and Stellantis South Africa (Jeep SA) regarding the unacceptable handling of my Jeep Renegade, which has been off the road since 3 December 2025. Timeline 21 November 2025 – Vehicle serviced by CMH East Rand Boksburg One week later – Vehicle broke down 3 December 2025 – Vehicle delivered to CMH East Rand Boksburg As at 2 March 2026 – Vehicle still unrepaired (almost three months) Issues There has been little to no proactive communication from either CMH or Stellantis. I have received contradictory explanations: incorrect parts ordered, wrong vehicle details supp****, missed ETAs, and internal workshop confusion. CMH admitted their workshop mistook a Fiat ECU for my Jeep ECU when it arrived in January. I am now advised that CMH cannot install the ECU without overseas technical guidance, raising serious concerns about dealer capability. Responsibility between CMH and Stellantis is unclear, leaving the customer to constantly chase updates at personal cost. Despite promises of follow‑ups, no meaningful progress has been made. Impact I rely on my vehicle for work. I have been without my car for nearly three months. I have incurred ongoing transport costs. No proper mobility solution has been provided. Conclusion It is completely unacceptable for a vehicle under warranty to stand at a dealership for nearly three months with no accountability, urgency, or clear repair plan. What I Am Demanding Immediate confirmation of the status and location of the correct ECU A firm repair completion date Senior management intervention from both CMH and Stellantis South Africa This matter has gone on far too long and falls well below acceptable customer service standards.

The service is wonderful here, throughout the day the keep on updating you on your vehicle service status. Any other issues that is beyond them thay are open to inform you. Nice coffee and ****ins seals the deal with their reliable wifi connection. Wish they introduce bold as a service for collection as they only do morning drop offs. Thanks Jessica Bekker for the walm welcome. Thanks #BlackFriday

I am writing this review as a highly frustrated customer. I have been servicing my vehicle at CMH East Rand, and unfortunately, this has been the worst customer service experience I have encountered to date. I dropped off my car at the CMH workshop on 11 July due to suspected compression issues. I received only one call informing me that the engine would need to be replaced. However, I was never provided with an official mechanic's report. Instead, I was advised to remain patient while the dealership compiled the report and submitted it to my warranty insurer, MFC, to initiate the claims process. It has now been over four weeks, and I have yet to receive any meaningful update. I have had to initiate contact myself each week, rather than receiving courtesy calls or proactive communication from the dealership. This lack of transparency and customer engagement is extremely disappointing.

CMH East Rand Service and Parts Department is diabolical. 1. My broken car stood in their parking lot for over a week post payment for them to even begin diagnostics. The entire repair took 3 months of constant back and forth and threats. 2. Once diagnostics were complete and I told them about my extended warranty the quote (for an engine overhaul) was over R 120 000.00 3. My insurance paid about R60 000.00. I paid R 12 000.00. Leaving me with a balance of about R 50 000.00. My suspicions grew and I decided to contact stellantis and get a comparative quote because the most expensive part (R 32 000.00) was a deal breaker for them and they insisted I pay cash. Well to my surprise Stellantis did not have the part on their system, a system CMH East Rand uses to source parts. 4. Once that **** came to light the quote suddenly drops to just over R 70 000.00 but I had to wait close to 3 months for any real progress to be made. 5. It's now December, my father is making threats, and my car is ready for collection. We collect the car but my Aircon and tyre sensors do not work and I'm liable for the repairs. After a protest they fix the Aircon but refuse to take accountability for my tyre pressure sensor which I later discover was removed from my vehicle while it was on their floor. 4. They then quote me over R 5000.00 for one tyre pressure sensor, which I bought for R 898.00 at Williams Hunt via Stellantis. So again they tried to **** me. 5. Yes, I did call CMH Headquarters and the manager I spoke to threatened me and said they're doing me a favour so I best behave and be grateful or they will take action. Long story short. CMH East Rand has a tendency of manipulating parts prices they claim are provided by stellantis. A business is expected to make a profit, granted, but you do not charge R3000 for engine oil, multiply every part by over 3 times it's worth to make a profit. That is *********. If I didn't enquire with stellantis, they would've walked away with over R 50 000.00 in profit, R 32 000.00 of that is a nonexistent part. Do with this information what you will but I would suggest you source parts at a reliable dealership and CMH East Rand is not. Their staff lacks accountability, lie with ease and gaslight you into believing their right and you're wrong, even when you have proof stating otherwise. They may counter my review but I have proof, I have kept every document and conversation, if you need to see the proof to believe me, I will gladly share it.

We took our car there for a turbopipe in March. They said they do not have a pipe available, bit will order a pipe for us, it should take 2-4 weeks, we need to pay 50% deposit. We paid the deposit. It is now September.. We have not received a turbopipe yet. We found a trustworthy company that got us a pipe. We have e been trying to get our deposit back for over 2 weeks. They do not get back to us We have phoned them EVERY day. They are VERY reluctant to be help in ANY way. This has been the WORST customer service I have ever received from any company. SHOCKING!!!!!!!!

Special thanks to Mishell Clarence @ CMH Eastrand for making my car-shopping experience an exciting & informed sport! A new purchase requires a Sales Person that's memorable & knowledgeable in their work, and that's the mirror reflection of Mishelle's service. I'm enjoying my new 2023 Opel Corsa 1.2 55kw & can't wait make more purchases with CMH Eastrand & Mishelle Clarence!😃😅😉
