My car was serviced on 27 November 2024, on the 07 December 2024 the car is not starting it shows engine light and ABS sign. I am very disappointed because there were no problems before service and I would like to suggest that they must have mobile diagnostic because now I cannot start the car which means it need to be towed to CMH Ford kempster Umngeni.

10 of June, I was assisted by Bo and I bought Cover mirror and He was told that there's no stock on hand but he will call once they have stock I paid for the item.When I called after weeks to follow I was told Bo is no longer with them but He works with Ford Umhlanga but they will call back with a feedback I waited almost 3 months I didn't receive any calls.. I had to buy the cover from another company. Then on the 23rd of August I went to Ford to ask for a refund, I was helped by Scelo but even today I haven't received any refund or any feedback, if I call Scelo he always say same thing"Im sorry about this, I will call back with feedback" but obviously I don't get any feedback from him. So tell me is this acceptable to my money and don't provide me with the required item, then I request for refund and also you don't want to give me a refund.. The service is pathetic.

For the past 7 years i have been taking my car for service at Cassey's auto Benoni and never experienced any problems. On the 18 October 2023 I took my car for service at CHM Ford kempster Umgeni road and on the 1st of November I started hearing an unusual sound. I called the service department they asked me to bring the car. They told me that the car needs some mounting because there's something moving under the car, later they asked me if I didn't take my car to any other service providers coz there's bolts under the car that are not correctly placed. They then assumed that my Cassey auto Benoni did not put the bolts correctly. This was puzzling because my last service with Casey's was 2022 and since then my car never had a problem. Even today my car is still making noise. I sent them an email and they never responded.

For the past 7 years i have been taking my car for service at Cassey's auto Benoni and never experienced any problems. On the 18 October 2023 I took my car for service at CHM Ford kempster Umgeni road and on the 1st of November I started hearing an unusual sound. I called the service department they asked me to bring the car. They told me that the car needs some mounting because there's something moving under the car, later they asked me if I didn't take my car to any other service providers coz there's bolts under the car that are not correctly placed. They then assumed that my Cassey auto Benoni did not put the bolts correctly. This was puzzling because my last service with Casey's was 2022 and since then my car never had a problem. Even today my car is still making noise. I sent them an email and they never responded.

Firstly, I came came because my window on the passenger side was stuck and they told me they cannot repair it in will have to book it in. I booked for the 21 of April but the window was not fixed cz they had to order some parts. On the 2nd of June brought the car again because it wasn't locking. The technician has a look and booked me to come today 4 June but I went home with a car again that I still can't lock. I can't go anywhere because I don't i can't lock the car.. If the car get stolen? Who's going to take responsibility. I am a paying customer plus I am a woman. I have places to go to and now I am inconvenced because of this. They said that they will call me once they have the parts. In the meantime, I am supposed to be driving around with a car that won't lock. I don't feel safe. This is so incompetent and so unprofessional because when the technician was assessing the car on the 2nd of June he would have known which parts to order. And who is paying for the petrol because of their back and fought. I wouldn't advise anyone to buy Ford shame.. It has so much of technical errors and when you bring it to their attention they making you un around... Poor service and the stuff is so not friendly. 0799418156...Ntoko zo magwaza

When driven, my vehicle has a noise so I requested it to be checked at Ford CHM Kempster Umgeni when servicing my vehicle which was last week. I was then told to record the noise and bring the vehicle back this week. I took it back to today and played the videos of proof. It doesn’t sound too pleasing to drive and it seems like there’s something wrong with the vehicle. So anyway I was told to leave my vehicle and will get a call once done. I didn’t receive any calls during the time my vehicle was at Ford to state the status of the vehicle. I was given a call saying my vehicle is ready. When I got to the dealership, they tell me they can’t hear any noises and they seemed like they’re not interested in my issue, and showed no concern. I clearly said that I’ve played the video with proof of the noise and I was told that there’s nothing they can do about it (even thought my vehicle is under warranty). I drove out the dealership and clearly heard the noise. I still have an issue unattended to and don’t know what to do. Also, last week when my vehicle was serviced, I was told that my vehicle was going to be washed. So when I picked the vehicle up, it hadn’t been washed. They told me they forgot to wash it! What kind of service is this???!!! I would certainly not recommend Ford CHM Kempster Umgeni to anyone. It seems like customer service is not a priority.

For the past 3 years, I have had terrible service and communication breakdowns with this dealership with regards to services of vehicles. They had improved slightly in 2018, but have now seen a severe dip yet again. The most problematic issues is trying to get through to relevant individuals over the phone. The phones constantly ring and when answered by the helpful receptionist, bookings or their service managers either never pick up, or there systems are not loading and they cut the call. I have the call cut on me on numerous occasions. They will never see support from me again. On their actual services and workmanship, I have had issues with window tints which took several attempts to be rectified as well as terrible care for the cars. (Window squeeks would have the oils and lubricants dripping down my door panels, and the car itself should be terribly dirty inside which they would then need to re-clean. Clearly something needs to be done in that dealership to get the staff working more efficiently and to be more customer centric, whom ofcourse are the people keeping them afloat.

I’d like to express my level of dissatisfaction at the service I got at Ford Kempster Umngeni (Durban).On 3/06/2020 I called in to book my car for repairs I was then told that the only available slot I could bring in my car was Friday 12/06/2020. I bought in the car at 06:45. At 13:25 I was called by a gentleman by the name of Vikash who let me know that the aircon needed repairing and that the service provider could only attend to the car on Monday 15/06/2020. On Monday I called him at 15:30 to find out what the update was only for him to tell me that he was about to call me and let me know the supposed update. I called again today at 14:00 to find out the latest only for him again to tell me that the car still is not ready. I have let Vikash know that this is a work car and is needed to do work purposes. And how I cannot accept any more of his excuses especially considering how uncooperative he has been through this process. I have asked for a courtesy car in the meantime for Fords inconsiderate inconvenience. Only to be told that there isn’t one. Vikash then transferred me to the service manager. Who did not bother to answer his fone. I find this behaviour from Ford highly unproffesional and extremely inconderite. Also bear in mind that this car is still under warranty. I have sent an email today, to ask for assist from their head office only to be sent an email being told that my issue will be dealt with on Monday. I then proceeded to call the head office who refused to transfer me to the manager. And told me my issue was still being processed and will only be dealth with on Monday. Seems like everything from Ford is useless their people and their cars included. Appalling service, the absolute worst. Yours Faithfully Mhleli Luthuli
