If a minus-star rating were possible, I would give it. I bought a brand new Tank 300 Super Lux top spec in April 2025, and since day one the vehicle has had a serious ignition manufacturing fault. The car switches off intermittently at robots and stop streets, posing a direct danger to my life. Each time it happens, the vehicle has to be manually restarted. The dealership has attempted to “fix” this issue four times, and to this day the problem remains unresolved. Despite this, the Dealer Principal (Ferdi), Fiona, and Johan have refused to replace the vehicle or take proper responsibility for what is clearly a manufacturing defect. What makes this even worse is that I was forced to pay for repairs out of my own pocket on a brand new vehicle because the dealership refused to properly resolve the issue under warranty. These three individuals work together to deflect responsibility, mislead, and cover for one another. Johan from the service department, in particular, cannot be trusted. When I left my vehicle for its first service, it was returned to me with a cracked driver-side window. The crack was at the top corner where the glass feeds into the rubber seal — I only noticed it later when sunlight hit it directly. This damage was never disclosed to me. It is disgusting how Johan, Fiona, and the Dealer Principal collude and lie for each other instead of protecting the customer. When they wanted to sell the vehicle, their tone, attitude, and professionalism were completely different. Once the money was paid, that all disappeared. I am now sitting with a brand new vehicle with a serious, unresolved manufacturing fault, I have paid out of pocket for repairs, and the dealership still refuses to replace the vehicle or resolve the issue properly. It is clear that they are not skilled or equipped to deal with these vehicles, and they do not understand how to diagnose or repair these complex Chinese vehicles. Please avoid this dealership at all costs. What you are sold is not what you receive, and when things go wrong, they will do everything possible to protect themselves — not you.

This is probably the worst dealership I’ve dealt with so far!!! The service department is the absolute worst!!! They **** about me getting my car back for over 7 days now!! They don’t bother to follow up and update me as the client, when i call them myself they lie through their teeth!! I had the opportunity to take my car for repairs elsewhere but they kept making empty promises!! I’ve never been so inconvenienced in my life!! I paid all their money on the day my car was booked in then they forgot about my car while it sat in their workshop!! Take your car there at your peril!!

BEFORE YOU LEAVE THE SERVICE CENTER CHECK ALL PARTS WHICH HAVE BEEN "REPLACED" I had to have my battery replaced on my Haval GT after only a year and a half. They told me it has to be a AGM battery hence the high price. I agreed to have the battery changed and once i got home decided to take a look under the bonnet and they had installed a cheap EFB battery from Midas but charged me for a AGM battery. They have now replaced the battery with an AGM but if i was a person who doesn't know much about cars and didn't look at what was supp****, They would have made double the profit installing a cheaper battery. Can only imagine they have done this to hundreds of their customers , Its absolutely shocking and is actually theft.

STAY AWAY FROM HAVAL. CHEAP **** FOR A NOT SO CHEAP PRICE!!! WITH NO RE-SALE - BASICALLY BUYING A PAPER WEIGHT If you thinking of buying a "luxury car" like the Haval GT, Think again. Will be the biggest regret of your life. Top of the range SUV has brakes with a bad shudder and drone since 5000km, Haval sent the car to an independent assessor who said the brake pad material was inferior and created to much heat therefore warping the discs. Haval have tried to ignore this and cover themselves, they wont help with even replacing the pads as this proves they are guilty of supplying inferior parts. There is no after sales service. you have better luck talking to a brick wall. Paint quality is shocking, the smallest stone leaves a chip. Exhaust valve actuator for the fancy valvetronic exhaust system has already had to be replace. and as of today my Alternator is now faulty, It never ends.

September 2022 I reported a noise to service Advisor Raheesa at CMH Haval pinetown dealership after an inspection, I was informed that there was no issue and I trusted their expertise. However the noise persisted and even worsened overtime and still I was dismissed. In 2023 still the noise was there and more problems occurred Tyre sensor faulty just because she had an award as the best administrator when she spoke with Me she wanted me to believe that there is nothing wrong with the vehicle. 2024 I reported the issue still was I was dismissed Now because the car is no longer under full maintenance plan the dealership acknowledges the faulty the one I suspected in 2022. This issue is not negatively affecting my routine but my overall experience as well. When I ask for clarity why they only identifying the problem now . She is not answering it been 4 days without a car my kids are not going to school because I don't have a car.

Service Department is pathetic! Raised a noise with my breaks at 5000 which they said that they need to wear in and it will go away. 14000 - raised it again 26000 - raised it again, disc's manufacturer issue Also made a request for a warranty claim as my door handle was faiding. Raessa from the service department never emailed me and said she called 6months later I had to follow up on a warranty. Currently my car is back there with the breaks still and the excuse this morning when I dropped my car was my spanner rattling by Ray the service manager. I am so over their excuses they have not sorted the issue out and tell a story everytime. Raessa has no service skills whatsoever! I am highly frustrated and certainly hope they stop lying to customers. Haval SA needs to start getting involved, they make idiots out of customers and as a woman try their luck.
