Bought car from them a year ago.1st time buying a car.and they found perfect candidate to ****.sold me a car that was on accident (was done with body fillers)a car that seem to be a write off because it had accident on front.now sitting with bank credit for a badly rebuild car.be careful when purchasing a car from them.better go buy car brand new because if such big companies like CMH sells such means we no longer safe.and when brought issue to their attention I was intimidated(Gerhard) pretending to be dealer principal. Ai it's just alot.but just be careful with that dealership.if only I had lawyers or means to fight that dealership

They sold me a vehicle with defect and refused to fix despite fact that I reported a defect within 11days. They insisted that the vehicle is within legally acceptable standards. On taking a vehicle to them for inspection the manager Christo Ivan Liebenberg nsisted that he will tow the vehilcle away and that I will bear costs for towing whereby they will not be liable for for risks when a vehicle is being towed away. He also indicated that he will charge me storage costs if I don't take a car from them cause the car cause I signed the contract with the bank.

I bought a care thinking they are a big brand, so they do a business in good faith. Been lying to myself. I bought a vehicle Proton X70 with 47 000 mileages. Tyres not in good condition and refused to put new tyres. Car vibrates with a noisy wheel bearing front right when driving at 140Km/hr which I could hear the noise first day because I drove slowly when I collect on 11 June. Wheel bearing is noisy with care vibrating. Reporting this within three days and they refused to put a bearing and tyres. They also charged me delivery of a vehicle which I wen to the dealer to collect they didn't deliver. Again, optional extras while everything on the car is standard.

Two and a half years later and I find paint coming of my vehicle bought through the dealership. To my own eye(not a professional dealing with buying second hands cars and reselling them), seeing the spray work done on the vehicle wasn't obvious. After Hyundai and a panel beater inspected the vehicle they immediately picked up that there was spray work done on the vehicle. My problem is this, why didn't this dealership do more work on inspecting the vehicle before selling it to me or did they in fact know about the spray work done, but not notify me? I guess I'll never know and now I need to cover the unforseen bills.

Throughout my years driving vehicles in the premium segment, I have never encountered such poor service quality, evident in two distinct areas. Firstly, in the used car sales department, I attempted to sell my vehicle and despite numerous calls, WhatsApp messages, and even another visit in person, I received no feedback after being promised follow-ups. That killed the idea to actually buy another Volvo. Secondly, obtaining a basic service quote was an excessively difficult process. Despite seven attempts to reach them (as professionals we have time to phone service providers for the fun of it), being told each time that a service advisor would return my call (which never happened), and eventually having three actual conversations during which I provided my VIN number, I still did not receive the promised quote via email. Curiously, this level of service is consistent at the Hatfield branch as well. This experience leads me to question why anyone would choose to purchase from this brand, and it likely explains why the resale value in this segment is among the lowest.
