College of Cape Town terrible communication
If I could give a ZERO star that is exactly what I would do. After the Northlink mess, I decided lets try College of Cape Town. Registered online and did the admission process. If potential students do not qualify for the artisan trade, what is next? What do you offer? Remember, not everyone wants to pursue a career in Business Management, Tourism, Hospitality, etc. As an institution of higher education, I suggest providing an alternative to getting in for trade studies as far as possible, not just a rejection letter stating you did not qualify due to your school subjects. It seems like this is the way most TVET colleges operate! They do not reply to emails, if they do eventually reply you have forgotten about the several follow-up emails you've tried reaching them. No answering of calls.

Completed my Professional Cookery Diploma in 2014 and graduated with the Diploma in 2015. When I app**** for a job in 2019-2020 found out my qualification was never registered with saqa. Meaning I paid 70k for the 2 years with no formal qualifications or credits.

College of Cape Town - Pinelands needs a course in answering phones!!!!
I have been trying to call College of Cape Town, Pinelands branch for the past 6 hours, it keeps giving an automated system, the phone rings and goes off again, I have sent them an email asking assistance with the distance learning portal, and still no one has gotten back to me. I am very frustrated as the course has started and my course material is not displaying on the portal. I need urgent assistance pls.

Complaints on College of Cape Town
What a pathetic institution for equip future generations with skills and educations. You are unable to even execute a refund properly. Your staff puts the phone down even while students speaks to them. Your staff is unable to provide a refund form via email. Even the principals of the campuses are ineffective to ensure student queries and grievances are addressed. All the reviews on Hellopeter are poor for this institution, one star. The saddest part of the situation is that there is not even a complaints department.

College S.A Entrapping people with debt of 7 years old!
College S A. Has a debt collection agency harassing me. I paid cash for my studies. I am receiving statements for 2016 and look at the date and year where we are currently. Now they claiming I owe them. Please advise how I was not notified at the time that I owe them? I did advise that that I had no re-collection of debt. Why did they not tell me that I need to settle an amount that was outstanding at the time I paid cash. This is *******,debt of 7 years old!! Seriously!! Please refrain from harassing me as this is entrapment!

NOTHING TO SHOW FOR A COURSE COMPLETED IN 2022
If I could give a - 0 rating I would. The communication is so poor. I am so frustrated and disappointed in the College of Cape Town Crawford Campus. My son completed the IT MSITA web development course in 2022. To date, he has not received a certificate. I have sent numerous emails from May 2023 to date and no staff member has the decency to pick up the phone and communicate the delay or respond to my emails. It is almost 2024 and my son has nothing to show for the course he completed in 2022.

Poor communication
I registered to study part time in January 2023. The college canceled the 1st semester February 2023 and gave an option to continue the second semester. I opted to continue the second semester. May 2023 I made contact with the college because they haven't informed me of when the second semester will be starting. The receptionist told me that they don't do part time studies for the course that I registered for in January and I must speak to accounts to get my money back. She tried to put me through to accounts but nobody answers. She then gave me an email address. A few days later the college informed me on whatsapp that the course is canceled. I have been struggling since June 2023 to get my money back from this College. Can someone please assist me to get my money back? They do not reply to my emails and also don't answer when I call them. The accounts department is just constantly busy.
