Collins log homes & wendy houses
My experience with Collins Log homes & Wendy Houses continues to be a traumatic nightmare!! I found this guy in Junkmail. I checked references which were very good. We negotiated a Wendy House. He quoted R30,000. I asked if he could do it for me for R25.000. He accepted. They timed the building of it very well as when it was complete it was dark. I had to walk in with a torch to inspect it. Collins had given me a guarantee so I paid him. When it was daylight another inspection was done. There are holes everywhere! The planks on the floor don't meet so there are big gaps where the wind comes howling thru. The corrugated sheeting is so thin it could be paper & has already started tearing. The wood used is 2nd hand & is split . I have requested Collins to please come & fix my Wendy to which he replied "I have no money" I told him I was going to take further action to which he relied "That is fine, I have no money". Just to replace the roof alone is going to cost me another R8000. People , please, if you hear the name Collins Sithole.........run a mile!!!
