Does a company care about there staff if this happens

I started working at Combat Fire on the 16th of April 2018 on the 18th I got let go due to my own mistakes. Ever since the 25th of April I am trying to get a minor salary of R 550 out of them with no luck.

Get told that the payroll was run on the 30th, if it was then my money would have been in. Ever since then I am sending email correspondence to them every day with no answer from the director or any staff member with my banking detail and everything.

While I was there the staff members told me that there is something wrong with the company. They didn't want to go into detail they just said I must take a good look and I will notice it.
