This must be one of the worst ethically run companies in the country. They send out threatening legal letters, refuse to give contact details, in fact they specifically state " We regret that we are not always able to phone you or to take your call or to respond immediately to your communications" yet give YOU three days to respond. All of this is done in blatant contravention of legislation. How are they allowed to continue to operate in this manner and why has nothing been done about the conduct? As for FNB, I no longer have the words to describe their conduct in this matter!

FNB handed over my loan to Connack Muller & Co attorneys and they started to harass me for payments although, I was unemployed in 2018, made some arrangements for payments which I did tried all my best to make some payments, I requested some last statement since I have been paying, only to find out no changes on the loan since I started to pay but instead interest going up, so I have been paying Connack Muller & Co administration, to my loan which I doubt, if this an agreement between FNB and Connack Muller & Co,

I settled my FNB Revolving loan Account with Connack and Muller & Co on 18 August 2021 i received the settlement letter. It is now 28th October 2021, FNB has not processed any of the documents sent to them that reflect that i have settled this account. On all MY ITC checks it shows that I have not been paying this account. What more must I do?? I have paid the account and want to continue with my life but FNB refuses to update their records to show that I don't owe them for this Account. FNB states that they only received my documents from CONNACK and Muller in mid September...I have been calling Adele from Connack and Muller asking her what is holding up the process and she has been adamant that my documents were sent to FNB in September and were just lying and gathering dust.

I am writing this review today based on,y experience with the mentioned company. They represent First National bank and use email services to communicate with their client. In this particular case, they represent First National Bank with regards to an overdraft facility that I hold with the bank. Not only have they followed up with me regarding my current financial situation as I have been unemployed for more than a year now and not able to make that minimum require repayment towards that back which the bank has asked for. Furthermore, the mentioned account has been handed over to the banks legal representative for further collection and I have made a payment arrangement with Connack Mueller and Co to make a monthly contribution towards the account for a monthly repayment of R100.00 which they have deemed inefficient to their customer required amount. After having my situations explained to them, they further mentioned that the agreement so not which has not neem sufficient to their client claim. I have endeavoured to make payment on time, however FNB had debited my bank account got the full monthly repayment amount after an arrangement was set in place with their legal representative. I have sent queries and disputes to both FNB as well as Connack Mueller and CO with no avail as they are ignoring my communications with them and have issued me with a notice of intent to expedite a claim against with the sheriff, I view this as intimidation on their behalf Since then they have been pursuing me, threatening me with legal action such as Summons and Judgement. I urge the public to be aware of their legal practices in the defence or their clients and to lay complaints against this company. Attorney or not, the still answer to a higher regulating body.

I need URGENT assistance from Connack Muller but there is absolutely no way to contact them and get a response in this matter. I need them to verify that they are officially appointed to represent FNB for legal collections. My son has received an email from Connack Muller but they have no website, the letter is unprofessionally written and I suspect a scam. Is there anyone who can assist with this enquiry. Judith PLEASE NOTE: I cannot include my mobile number as I am out of the country at the moment and the space provided does not allow for the longer mobile number.

Connack Muller...this has got to be the WORST cabal of attorneys operating in South Africa today, especially Tracy McGolgan, yes you, I'm calling you out by name. I'm also calling out FNB "how can we help you".... Together these two businesses have a neat arrangement and its disgusting. The story is a looong one - ineptitude (or slick scam?), poor customer service and what appears to be a well orchestrated scam. I have reported Connack Muller to the Law Society but we shall see what transpires. The short version: 4 years ago, yes, 4 years...I owed money on my FNB account. Connack Muller (CM) contacted me to arrange payment. I did, and account went to zero. Telkom (another villain) fired off a debit order against the account (on a cancelled Telkom contract). The account was at a zero balance so of course the debit order didnt go through, luckily, as the telkom account was cancelled. Telkom apologised and went away. FNB, instead of reversing the debit order decided that I owed over R4000 and insisted that I pay FNB. Remember: no money actually owed to Telkom, no money actually paid out by FNB....but FNB decide they want a R4000 payment from me off the settled account at a zero balance. I refused. The balance of R4000 then attracted interest chargess until the amount "owing" stood at over R8000. Connack Muller contacted me in 2017 to arrange payment. No one cared that I didnt actually owe anyone any money... After almost a year of arguing I gave up and paid a compromise settlement on the account on the understanding that Connack Muller would close the FNB account and I'd never be able to use it again. that was December 2018. Guess what? The account isn't closed. It is now June 1, 2020. The bank wont close it unless CM tells them to close it. CM doesn't respond to emails or phone calls AND NOW I OWE MORE THAN R11 000 AFTER ALREADY PAYING R7 000 COMPROMISE SETTLEMENT!!!! This on top of initially paying more than R4000 ON THE SAME ACCOUNT 4 YEARS AGO!! Neat scam hey. Of course the bank wants its scam money and CM will want another compromise settlement... STAY AWAY FROM CONNACK MULLER AND FNB. FNB - "how can we help ourselves to your money..."
