Very disappointed at this place and the service we received and still waiting for refund sins 14 February 2026. Originally we booked and paid a valentines special on Fomo that included dinner, spa massage, one night stay and breakfast. When we got to the place, entrance smelled like smoke and reception dismissed our arrival, we greeted multiple times to only than get recognition from reception (Kedibone) and we where than informed that they have no such booking. The manager Jacobs came to assist us, received a room and than where rushed to the spa as no one knew we where booked. The spa room smelled moldy, floor was dirty and towels smelled foul. Come dinner time we where informed that the restaurant side was under new management and that we had to pay for dinner, but will be refunded by the manager Jacobs on that coming week when it was working hours,as it was part of the special that we already paid for. Room itself was outdated and not as per advertised on special. Next morning went to restaurant and no staff was onsite to assist with breakfast, waited an hour to see if we would get any assistance and than only left to book out as we didn't get any waiter or anything so no breakfast received,than went to reception where no staff was on site ,only to than get help from one of the spa ladies that walked in and called someone, Kedibone came to assist and when we asked regarding breakfast she laughed in our faces and was very disrespectful. We have than send through our dinner slips and last responds 25 Feb and yet no refund off dinner and breakfast we paid now double for and just ignoring us. Would not recommend.

Not even a brothel is run that way. What’s supposed to be a restaurant is a Tarven playing loud music and people smoking **** right at the entrance. That place is not even a shadow of its past

Deteriorated to the worst stay in Midrand. Noise from what used to be a restaurant to Tarven. **** smoking individuals right at the entrance. Was informed someone was ******ed this year

We booked via Booking.com from 23 September till 25 September 2023, when we got to the Hotel we were told that there is no water, we can chose to stay or not stay, should we chose to stay over they will supply us with water using buckets, should we not chose to stay over they will refund us on Monday which was 26 September 2023, I called to follow up, they said they are waiting for the manager who is based in Durban, according to the receptionist there is no branch manager, afterwards I was called to be told that they wont refund me, I must cancel via Booking.com, of which I cant due to my check-in date that has passed, so I just need the hotel to do an honorable thing and refund me, I was asked to leave my banking details by the receptionist of which I did.

We have had nothing but inconvenience that we thought we can overlook till now. When we got here we were given a room with the air conditioning not working, to which we highlighted and then were given an option to go see room 18, which has tiles that are coming off and a floor that feels like it will break, so we ended up settling for room 11. We then come back around 9:45pm after we left around 5:30pm. When we got back we realized there is no toilet tissue, we asked from the guy at reception and still have not gotten it 3 hours later. About 20 minutes ago we had some enter our room because they gave another guest our room key. We had to stop them from entering and now my wife felt unsafe and uncomfortable to sleep cause someone else might just enter. This is an inconvenience we didn't plan for when we booked for this place and now we are told the manager never comes on weekends. The same person who caused this inconvenience is the Manager Maria. Who didn't even get a call from her after we sent her an sms an receptionist called her. By far the worst experience at a hotel.

I booked at the hotel, and sent them pictures of the room that I wanted and they said no problem it will be discussed upon my arrival. On my arrival I’m given a room I didn’t even ask for, to top it all, it had 2 single beds whereas I specified that it was for a surprise party for me and my partner. I even have proof of our conversations. I spent the night not happy with the old looking room I was given. I checked out and I called the hotel to let them know I forgot my ice bucket. That was on the 28th of January 2022 today it’s the 10th of february 2022. The lady hasn’t called, and when you call the reception it comes through the same lady who will tell you she’s not at the hotel but will send someone to check. I’m so disappointed at how they handle things and selling people dreams and promising to revert back to me regarding my ice bucket till this day.

We booked for two nights for 11 people, we arrived on a Friday, as we checked in the sheets were stained/dirty. We woke up on the morning we tried to buy coffee we were told there's only a few to buy, continuing we asked about the pool we were then told it would be cleaned on Monday if we opt to use the pool it would be at our own risk. We asked to check out and go to another place we were told the boss is in a meeting till 7pm mind you it was 11:00 am we asked for a refund we were told our money is still at booking.com yet we paid a week before... Oh on top of our frustrations we were told that they have a function and we had to stay in our rooms during the function and not be loud.... Whoever gave these people a good rating is wasting other people's money. There's even roaches in the rooms. The things that are specified on booking.com are false

I’m not sure how you could possibly explain how filthy and disgusting the room was or justify this ESPECIALLY during covid. See above pictures as to how filthy your hotel actually is…. It honestly doesn’t take much to have one house keeper doing a proper job. This room was not cleaned properly the day of arrival nor was it cleaned properly the day before that or the previous day. I will gave the hotel until COB the next day to respond with a reasonable response and how they planned to refund us until I we went public with this. The manages response was absolutely pathetic and she did not see fault. I am happy to provide pictures from my 5 minutes in the room before walking out. Another guest walked out at the same time as me
