Placed under debt review with no consent

This company don't eve deserve a star. They called me late May early June and I told them that I am not interested in any debt counselling. Today I went to settle my account and I was told that I was under debt review, how? When I don't even know much about debt review. I then called NCR and they told me that this company placed me under debt review. I tried calling them and their number is not going through. Their whatsapp number has only 9 digits on their website. Please help me, I never wanted any debt review and I want them to cancel their application that they made
