🌟 A Heartfelt Thank You to Cormed Hospital 🌟 Last Thursday evening, I found myself at Cormed Hospital’s casualty unit due to complications with a drain inserted at another facility. It was my first time visiting Cormed, and I must say — I was blown away by the experience. From the moment I walked in, the staff were nothing short of amazing. The reception team, nurses, and the doctor on duty were all incredibly friendly, professional, and efficient. In a situation that could have been stressful and uncomfortable, they made me feel safe, cared for, and respected. Having been to other hospitals before, I can confidently say that Cormed exceeded all my expectations. The level of service and compassion I received was a wonderful surprise — a true testament to the dedication and excellence of the team. 💐 Thank you to everyone who was on duty that evening. You made a real difference, and I’m deeply grateful. #ThankYouCormed #HealthcareHeroes #Gratitude #PatientExperience #AboveAndBeyond

Dr waltge My sister was at her rooms early this morning they did a sonar and tests and said they would call her back regarding the results before the end of the day she is in severe pain we have called 18 times answered 2 times and both times we were told the lady that handles the results arent in. R1400 for this? No prescriptions no advice no service.

I’d like to give a huge Shoutout to Cormed Vanderbijlpark. I was extremely apprehensive about an operation I needed but the Cormed experience was outstanding. Every single nurse and all other employees, including doctors, theatre staff, the lady who serve me lunch, which was like 5star restaurant quality, the nurse who wheeled me into theatre (Kobus), not only did their job in a friendly and efficient way, but really went the extra mile. Thank you SO MUCH everyone. You all did an amazingly superb job!

Cormed Private hospital Vanderbijlpark has to be the most careless hospital I've encountered in my entire life! As a first-time mother, I welcomed my baby at Cormed Private Hospital on June 28, 2024. We were private patients and were charged R30,000 for the delivery of my son. I cannot believe how negligent and unprofessional the staff are there. On the day of my discharge, I inquired with my nurse about my baby's birth certificate, and she responded that they would call us when it was time to come register my baby. After three days, we called, and they told us to try again later. Two more days passed, and once again we called, only to be told to call them later. Two additional days passed, and we called again, only to learn that the nurse responsible for the birth certificate was on leave. When she returned, we reached out to her, and she requested my baby's information to verify the details. MY BABY WAS NOT EVEN IN THE SYSTEM; they had no record of the day he was born and were completely unaware that he had been born there. They had his file, but it had never been uploaded on the system. The nurse, upon returning from her leave, had to go and locate it. The explanation for this oversight was that a student nurse was in charge of my delivery and my baby's documentation. She expressed regret regarding the situation and mentioned that someone was meant to contact us about coming in for the birth certificates, but since it wasn’t uploaded into the system, we did not receive a call. She apologized and referred us to the Matron of the hospital, Sister Bester. We needed to visit Home Affairs ourselves to obtain his birth certificate. That was not an issue, but we called repeatedly, and they never indicated that his file had not been captured, which is why we weren’t receiving a call to visit the hospital for his birth certificate. Once this matter was finally resolved, I believed at least we were finished with the hospital and could move on with our lives. On the day I left the hospital, I inquired with my student nurse if my baby had received his BCG vaccine and OPVO oral medicine. She confidently assured me that he had received both, handed me his book, and we departed. I didn't verify his book because I had no reason to doubt her. However, once I got home, I noticed the book wasn’t signed. We called the hospital to clarify this, and they informed us that the student nurse likely forgot to sign the book, but assured us that my baby did receive his vaccinations. Please remember that we moved from Vaal to Durban and were informed that the next time we visit, we can simply bring the book for their signature since it is documented. My baby has reached six months, and we took him in for his vaccinations; the nurse mentioned that the hospital needs to sign for the first shots he received. We understand this requirement, but we have relocated. After our baby received his six-month vaccinations, we called the hospital to arrange a visit for them to sign the book, and we were told that HE DID NOT RECEIVE IT. As a first-time mother, I trusted the hospital and am devastated by the stress and anxiety I experienced there. We witnessed my son receiving a shot and some oral medication, but I was unaware that it was a different shot. I particularly asked my (student) nurse if my baby had received his required vaccinations and regarding his birth certificate before I left the hospital following my delivery. I was reassured that everything was correct and within protocol. So tell me, how can I be satisfied with the carelessness and treatment I got from this hospital? They made an already stressful situation ten times worse after I delivered a baby! They apologized and shifted the blame to another nurse each time we called—believe me, we definitely called them more than thirty times. Any expectant mother, especially a first-time mother, should not go to this hospital, in my opinion. I trusted this hospital, but they failed my baby and myself miserably. Cormed please let me know if this is the careless and repulsive treatment you give your patients??

I have recently had to rush two of my daughters to Cormed in Vanderbijlpark on different occasions. The service at Cormed Clinic is worlds removed from e.g. Medi-Clinic in that it's accurate, thorough, fast and friendly. Here you actually forget that you're not just a number. Patients are treated with respect and dignity. The Clinic is clean and quiet, staff is helpful and the doctors absolutely professional. And this is why we return to Cormed for our medical needs. Cormed delivers old school quality service. It's unbeatable.

Cormed DR's and nurses are the WORST EVER, terrible service from begining to the end. My fiancee went for blood tests, after two weeks no response from the Dr's, after numerous calls and some cruel language I had to use they misplaced it!! Made an appointment and waited for more two hours to get helped at the end of the day at the DR's Nurses are up and down and worrying more what each other are going to have for lunch than attending to the patients that needs help and pay thier salaries Would not recomend it at all, you die there before you get help

My wife was admitted at 22:00 Sunday the 27th of August. She could not take it there anymore and was dis harged 15:30 the next day. Due to us not having medical aid I had to pay a deposit of R12000.00 before they would admit her. It's been 2 weeks waiting for Cormed to finalize my account. She definitely did not receive great service. I'm very disappointed in the service of this establishment.
