Firstly, I got up the lifts and could not see a door or entry. Was guided around a vending machine. I then walked into a musky, smelling reception and heard loud screaming amongst people in another office with no reception presence. I waited a while before any service, and then an unapologetic rather shabby dressed person greeted me, smiling at least, but by then, I was already decided. The most unprofessional environment. From my vast experience in the culinary sector, I could see expensive equipment, but not well maintained. The one kitchen stunk like something had just died there. A young man who introduced himself as the principal seemed very forward of nature as he walked out of that office with a sheepish grin. It's not a place for young females here! Absolutely not. As I left, he, together with another lecturer, as I was introduced to, was smoking outside with students. It's not a place for any child of mine. After some personal research, I discovered the following, which was clearly evident from my first impression. The education level has dropped. Lecturers are young in experienced and not trained educators. The promises they market are never fulfilled. The accreditations boasted have not been ensuring students actually explore and live the dream they are promised. A student registering here is on their own. There is no post-graduate assistance. They market this as a lie. Students hard work over the year and time in industry goes missing by their lectures and are then expected to pay exorbitant fees to the school yet still go out and work at unpaid establishments for the flaw of the staff. Students are expelled and still expected to pay full fees.
