Recently I underwent a surgical procedure at Cure Day Hospital in Fourways. It is not the first time I have been to Cure and I would like to thank the staff for the way they looked after me. They were professional and polite and showed empathy too. From the Admissions to the time I was well enough to be discharged.

The service from Cure day hospital in Paarl was great, it's a pity that the admin team is not able to assist clients with the necessary urgency. We had to pay cash to use the hospitals facilities and were entitled to a refund, Baleseng Kutu reached out to us via email to get the documents needed to process the refund that was on 01 September, we sent the documents, after following up again Baleseng stated that she could not open the attachments instead of telling us when she received the email. We resent the documents and still to date she has not confirmed that the documents were received or sent back any sort of information. It's been almost 2 months can we please get the necessary assistance to get our refund

Cure Day Fores**** made contact with me after seeing me asking for advice about my 7-year-old son's ears. He was born with ears that did not fully develop at birth, resulting in one ear being noticeably bigger than the other. From the first call, Anne-Marie and their team showed genuine care and understanding. They guided us step-by-step through the process and never made us feel rushed or uncertain. The clinic itself is beautiful, clean, and well-organized. The staff were warm, attentive, and made sure my son felt comfortable at all times. What stood out the most was how invested they were in helping him. This was more than just a procedure — they treated it like a mission to help restore his confidence and give him the freedom every child deserves. We are deeply grateful to Anne-Marie and the entire team. Dr. Siddharth R. Gautam is not just a brilliant surgeon — he is one of the kindest, most compassionate professionals we have ever encountered. He performed my son Milan’s ear surgery pro deo, asking for nothing in return, and yet he gave us everything. From the very beginning, he treated our family with immense care, respect, and empathy. He went out of his way to ensure we were fully informed, comfortable, and supported every step of the way. What truly stood out was how personally invested he became in Milan’s wellbeing. When Milan developed a cough before the original surgery date, Dr. Gautam made the difficult — yet absolutely correct — decision to postpone the procedure, placing Milan’s safety above all else. That level of dedication and integrity is incredibly rare. The way he handled this entire case was extraordinary. His generosity, professionalism, and genuine heart have left a lasting impact on our family. We will forever be grateful to him for changing our little boy’s life — and doing so with such humanity. Dr. Shenaaz Essa brought a calm and reassuring energy to a very stressful day. She took the time to speak to us before the procedure, explain everything in a way that made sense, and most importantly, made sure my son was calm and comfortable. Her kindness, professionalism, and warmth turned something scary into something manageable. We felt safe knowing she was there. You can see that she loves what she does and truly cares about her patients — young and old. She was an essential part of our positive experience, and we are so thankful for her.

My husband and I are truly blessed with three beautiful, healthy children aged two, almost three, and almost six. On the 22nd of May, our almost-four-year-old daughter underwent a tonsillectomy, adenoidectomy, and grommet insertion at Cure Day Hospital in Somerset West. We couldn’t be more grateful for the exceptional care we received. Dr. Gérard De Bruyn, the brilliant ENT surgeon, performed the procedure with skill and compassion. His calm, confident manner and thorough step-by-step explanations were incredibly reassuring. Alongside him was Dr. Kashif Abass, the anaesthesiologist, whose kind, gentle nature put us and our little one completely at ease. From admission to discharge, the staff at Cure Day Hospital were outstanding. Every nurse and staff member we encountered was warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. They made what could have been a nerve-wracking experience into one of calm and comfort. If you or your loved ones ever need ENT care or any procedure done, we wholeheartedly recommend: Dr. Gérard De Bruyn (ENT), Dr. Kashif Abass (Anaesthesiologist) and Cure Day Hospital Somerset West Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for the exceptional service and care. #GratefulParent #CureDayHospitalSomersetWest #DrGerardDeBruyn #DrKashifAbass #ENTCare #ThankYou #FamilyCare

What a wonderful place with exceptional staff, from reception to all the nurses. Dr. Maclean and Dr. Du Plessis were fantastic with my son, taking the time to explain every procedure in detail. Our nurse was also incredible. I am so pleased with the service provided by all the healthcare professionals and the cleanliness of the facility. highly recommend!

Cure day hospital's head office staff is some of the most inncompetent people I have ever had to deal with. No common sense and absolutely unable to assist you. By far the worsthead office of any hospital I have ever had to deal with

My daughter was scheduled for a simple eye exam 3 weeks ago, She arrived on the day only to be told to reschedule to next week as the Dr was busy. The people behind the desk appeared not terribly interested and it seemed they just forgot. The day before the next appointment she was contacted and told the Dr had an emergency and had to rebook a further week away. She arrived today and was examined. When she tried to pay, the clerk Lepolelo informed her that they would not accept her bank card and she must make a bank transfer. This in itself is just wrong, My daughter tendered an appropriate and universally acceptable mode of payment and was rejected! She then contacted me, her father and send me the invoice and I duly paid and sent through the POP. Lepolelo barred her from leaving for around 20minutes until the POP arrived. My daughter repeatedly told her she had to be somewhere but Lepolelo kept refusing to let her leave. My daughters phone was on almost the entire time and I heard the entire discussion where Lepolelo refused to let her leave. My Daughter is a polite young teenager and did not want to make a scene or seem rude. Eventually I told her to just Leave!!!! Which she eventually did. What a disgraceful set of circumstances. Messing a patient around with bookings is extremely poor practice and shocking and the admin and clerical staff should be taken to task about this. ********ly detaining someone just because she is young is despicable and potentially ********.
