Poor service and downright incompetence from Cycloworx Cycles

As a cyclist, I would just like to let the public know about the POOR POOR service I received from Cycloworx Cycles in Paulshof, Johannesburg. For the past 6 months I have had nothing but problems with my Road bike since servicing by Cycloworx Cycles. Elementary things that a bike mechanic should know were just not done. A botched job of respoking my wheels left me with ongoing punctures during races and continual broken spokes. This job was never done properly. Spokes not fitted properly and the rim tape covering the spoke holes was “glued” and so badly that the spoke holes were not even covered. Hence ongoing punctures with brand new tubes. The rear wheel was fitted with no spacers on the left side so my wheel could not even turn properly. Damage to the paintwork on my bike was also a major concern. One would think that bikes are test-ridden and checked after a service but there is just no care. Real SHOCKING service from incompetent and untrained staff. This type of thing can lead to serious accidents on the open road. AVOID this shop at all costs.
