Advertised on wikideals as: Luxury Couples Spa Package at Dan Ne La Beauty Spa at The Quays, Century City! It is regrettable that Wikideals serves as the intermediary platform, and there appears to be a discrepancy between the advertised descriptions of some locations and their actual conditions. The condition of the premises was unacceptable; it was unclean, poorly lit, and disorganized, starkly contrasting with its portrayal in adverti*****t on wikideals. The service, advertised as 60 minutes in duration, was abruptly concluded in 35 minutes. Furthermore, the massage oil used was not an oil and had a similar consistency to wax and had a poor smell. The option of massage we picked was not available but advertised that it was available. The staff severely lacked professionalism and technique, the lady who performed the massage was rather aggressive and we had to keep pointing out that we are being hurt. Overall, the establishment failed to meet the standards of luxury, cleanliness, hygiene, organization, and structure, resulting in a distressing and disappointing experience. Wikideals has been notified. Let's hope they may put in a measure that helps the customer base receive better quality services or consequences for falsely advertised services.

Worst spa ever!!!! So for mother's day my husband and daughter got me a wikideal voucher which consisted of a couples massage at Dan nela beauty spa and a three course meal at brocka. The 1st red flag was the fact that I could not get through to Dan Nela spa to make a booking via telephone. I called all the numbers provided on the wikideal voucher multiple times on many days, I found an email option on their websites, sent my date and time I wanted and received no response. Myself and my husband then had to drive all the way to canal walk from southern suburbs just to make a booking. Which we were not able to do because apparently you can't make a booking at the place. Not to mention, the place is impossible to find. Upon arrival, we met another couple in the spa who was in distress as they refused to reschedule or proceed with their treatment as they were there on time but no one opened the door for them. The couple requested to speak to the manager but the manager was of no help. So next was our turn to speak to the lady at the front desk. So we advised we are there to make a booking and that we had a wikideal voucher. After hearing the couples horror we proceeded to ask for a booking, the lady at the front desk asked for our voucher which we refused to give for obvious reasons. The lady then advised that she wouldn't be able to make the booking unless we gave her the voucher. Which does not make sense because when people make cash bookings without a wikideal voucher, they are not required to pay the cash upfront . We asked to speak to the manager, the girls **** and said their phones had died and refused to pass on details of the manager. Eventually after kicking up a racket they called the manager on their phone that apparently died. My husband initially spoke to the manager, he was not rude, spoke in a calm polite manner. Then he turned to me and said the manager just told him that her dad is a big time sangoma and that he must not mess with her and her father or he will get to meet her father. My husband passed the phone to me as he was in complete disbelief. I took the phone and put it to my ear only to find the manager screaming at the top of her lungs. When I spoke she then advised she would not make the booking for us because my husband was rude to her. Which he was not. I am in disbelief and absolutely disgusted that these people are still in business. She also said that apparently wikideals advised them not to accept any bookings because wikideals would refund all wikideals voucher purchases as they are no longer in partnership. This makes completely no sense as the story always changes. She then also said she will only be in South Africa in 2025 and can contact us back next year. All their reviews are bad!

‼️‼️They redeem your voucher before you use it so they get the money, and you can't reschedule if it's more than 48 hours before the treatment. This would have been my third visit to Dan Ne La Beauty Spa. On my first two visits, I never complained, but now that this has happened, I feel compelled to share my full experience. Every time I arrived, they kept me waiting for almost 20-30 minutes before starting my treatment, and they only offer tap water to drink. While the the******s are great at what they do, there is a general feeling of sloth in the place. I called the spa before buying the voucher to book an appointment. When I needed to reschedule due to extreme weather warnings, I was informed that my voucher had already been redeemed and there was no option to reschedule or cancel. I kept saying I wasn't canceling; I just wanted to reschedule or postpone. I spoke to Samuel, who gave me this information, and later with a woman who identified herself as the spa manager. Despite my insistence that I was not canceling but simply rescheduling, I was met with a refusal and told that I could not dictate how Dan Ne La operates. The voucher itself does not specify any restrictions on rescheduling, making this refusal even more perplexing. During my conversation with the spa manager, I was told that "You’re one of those clients who doesn't want to come because of the rain, but guess what? We are very busy right now with customers who sacrificed and have kids who came today, so you must come or forfeit the voucher." I was taken aback and asked to speak to her manager, whom she identified as the operations manager—Samuel. He came on the phone. When I asked him why his manager was so rude, he said, "I'm sorry, but what do you want from us? You can't call the spa and dictate to us how we need to work. Plus, there are clients here, and you are speaking to us like this." Speaking to him like what, I asked. I told him I am qualified in customer experience and I’m disgusted by what they are doing and how they handle clients. His response was dismissive and unprofessional, further highlighting the lack of proper customer service at this establishment. Avoid this place at all costs. Their customer service is appalling, and their policies are not transparent. They are more interested in taking your money than providing a satisfactory service.

Not so nice experience at this Spa. I was really looking forward to the experience as I am a mother of 4 and really needed the relaxation and purchased the Wikideals voucher for myself and my sister. Firstly, the Spa is no where to be found on google maps. Myself and my sister googles our way in circles trying to locate the branch we had to be at and we ended up at the wrong one after searching for 30min on our feet. The lady at the reception (at the incorrect branch gave us very vague instructions to the one we need to be at. After walking for over 30min, we ended up calling the number on the internet and finally found the place by keeping the lady on the line but ended up getting there almost 45min later. Our entire treatment was now cut by 45min. What a waste of money and time.
