I went to fourways mall rage to pay off my account, I told the consultant her name Mantlala (cashier S210294MANTLALA) that I wanted to pay off the account and I want to close it. She did not adhere to my request. She made it that I still owe an amount of on the account after I had specifically told her that I would be closing the account. Why would she leave it on a minus? Than after that she changed my cellphone on the system to an incorrect number for what reason? Seems that she did all this so that I wouldn't close the account and for me to have problems at verification. It's not the 1st time that it has happened. Same thing has happened before at a different branch whenbi told them I would be closing off the account they made sure that I still owed a cent on the account. Meaning it would make it hard for me to close the account if I still owed Rage. This is un ethical and unprofessional behaviour. She said she corrected my number, but I never received an sms to confirm that and I do not believe that she amended my number on the system as she should have. I did receive an sms when she changed it , but never received an sms when she amended it. I need to know if my details were corrected and I need that account closed now! Or should I ask the ombudsman to intervene.
