Bought Nduna Sable Deluxe Dome Tent first week of August at their new Groot Phesantekraal branch in Cape Town. When I went camping found the bag was not sealed as other brands such as Tentco and Cammor are. There were no pegs and other accessories that normally come with any tent. The poles were all the same in other words being a dome tent you have the star in the centre and all other poles connect to this of the four sides. The poles I received were all with the star no side poles. Further the tent was not folded as as new tent that comes from the supplier in other words it was either used or opened. I returned to the store the salesmen could not explain how this happened. I asked him for another new one. He returned with another bag. When checked the same problem. It was not sealed with the cable tie no pegs bee-wax and tent not folded as new from the factory. Looked like a return. The poles also not matched accordingly. I asked for another bag and poles. He and another salesmen brought out another bag with three poles sets. So now we had tent bags but five poles sets. When asked where the other two tent bags were they said the customers took the tents by forgot the poles. I can understand if one forgot but two.. that’s highly unlikely. Anyway the manager arrived and Inexplainef my problems to him. He immediately called he supplier who he told me promised to courier a new sealed tent. He promised as soon as it arrived the salesman will phone me and I could exchange the tents. He gave me the tent I had at a reduced price but again promised that when the tent arrives I can exchange the tent. I was in continuous contact with the salesman during August but nothing had arrived until end August. Got this message on 18 September after sending a WhatsApp .. “Good morning, probably getting it this weekend as the truck only arrives around Friday or Saturday morning but as of yet we have no tent in store Mr.A” that was the last I heard from the store. A week later sent a WhatsApp saying it was a week later after the supposedly truck delivery .. so can I can come collect the new tent? … up until today Thursday thirty October no response from Dave Sheer Guns ..

Absolutely Disgusted – Worst Service Ever from Dave Sheer Guns and Holosun Support! I bought a brand-new Holosun 407K red dot from Bunker Arms at Huntex. Three weeks later, the battery was already dead. I replaced it myself, but accidentally inserted it upside down. When I tried to open the battery tray again, it wouldn’t budge — completely jammed. I took the unit back to Bunker Arms, where they said they’d send it to the Holosun supplier. One week later, I went to collect it… only to find my brand-new red dot scratched, dented, and with a damaged rubber seal. It looked like someone used an excavator to force it open! When I asked Bunker Arms about it, they simply shrugged and said it wasn’t their problem — I must speak to the agents who “fixed” it. They gave me a number for someone named Brian. Turns out Brian is from Dave Sheer Guns — and he was without a doubt the rudest, most arrogant and unhelpful person we’ve ever dealt with. He kept blaming me for inserting the battery wrong (as if that justifies destroying the unit), and at one point even suggested I scratched it myself! He told me to bring in my brand-new P365 X-Macro to check for “misuse” — a gun that hasn’t even been to the range yet and doesn’t have a single mark on it! Then he admitted that other clients have also inserted batteries upside down before, but “this has never happened,” so I “must have done something wrong” and jammed the tray. Newsflash: If it was only upside down (not the wrong size), why on earth would opening the tray cause permanent damage unless the unit itself was faulty? To top it off, he kept raising his voice, repeatedly saying, “WHAT DO YOU WANT ME TO DO?!” and shouting “I WILL NOT give you a new unit!” The unit is now scratched, dented, and possibly no longer waterproof — and we never even used it once on the range! This is the worst customer service we’ve ever experienced. They fixed one problem and caused even more damage. 👉 Do yourself a favour: Avoid Holosun. Avoid Bunker Arms. Avoid Dave Sheer Guns. If you want proper optics with decent customer support, go with Vortex. This experience left us furious, disappointed, and out of pocket — with a product that now looks second-hand after just three weeks. Never again.

I received very bad and *********** service from Gerrit at the Bloemfontein branch. Gerrit clearly doesn't know what he is doing and he is bad mouthing other employees. Won't recommend this gun shop

very bad customer service, especially from whoever controls their Instagram. They take ages and ages to reply and then give rude and obnoxious replies, I'll never purchase anymore guns or ammo or anything from there again, Prices are insane TBH

Terrible service, Blatant theft. I purchased a firearm, paid in full + paid for licensing "assistance" I cancelled the deal some months - long after making full payment. Dave Sheer Guns decided to keep 40% (R4000+) apparently for storage in their safe. ? R1000 amonth? Dave Sheer decided to ALSO keep the moneys I paid for licensing assistance as well. Due to me coplaining about their criminal policies, they obviously decided to pay me nothing back. No payment has been received from DSG. So far they have paid NOTHING back to me. Blatant theft - hiding behind paperwork. Do a Google Search - Dave Sheer guns is NOT the type of business you want to deal with.

Paid for firearm in 2020, only to find out they do not have the firearm in question, 6 months later. Dave sheer refuse to respond to my emails. Not getting through on the landline either. They do respond via facebook messenger warning me about legal implications should i post on their service. What kind of servive is this???

I am writing to Dave Sheer Bremaly, to explain about a bad experience I was subjected to. It is appalling to witness an employee ( Kenny) of such a respected renowned company to behave in such a manner. At first he sold me a firearm that belonged to someone else, then later on during the process picked up that it was sold in another branch. I insisted that he order Glock 19 Gen 5, I told him I wouldn't mind the waiting. Within a few minutes there was a gun available of which I was also pleased. Then he sorted out the paperwork for me. A month and a couple of weeks late (26/04/2021) I get a phone call from my local police station notifying me that my application cannot be processed because the firearm with serial number belongs to someone, so basically Dave Sheer sold the same gun twice which is fraud according to my understanding. I then contact the store immediately from 09:00am, I called approximately six times and was told he was at the rest room. I left a message for him only then around 10:30am he called me back. I expressed my grievance and demanded answers but he was not moved and told me he would get back to me. When he called me back I was hoping to get proper feedback with a solution, However, he just gave the one option I needed to take of a different pistol (Glock 17 Gen 4) of which I have no interest because I wanted to know what happen to the one I paid for on the 13/02/2021.Which is exactly what I want. I don’t know which system does this store use but such mistakes are unacceptable given the fact that you are dealing with delicate things such as firearms. I find this unacceptable because he never called me back to resolve the issue, nor have the audacity to acknowledge the fault and me running around trying to get hold of him of which I gave him ample time. I feel disrespect, unheard and unprioritized as a customer that has already paid especially. This is a huge inconvenience for me, as I will have to restart the licence application.
