To clarify a few things that you mention here:
You say it took longer than 8 weeks. Our contract states that *DIGITAL EDITING AND PROCESSING* can take up to 8 weeks. On the day it was 8 weeks you received your online gallery link with double the amount of edited images that was originally included in your package. In your own words that same day you said: "These are absolutely stunning!!"
A few days later though, you did mention that the reception pictures were a bit dark. So as soon as I had time (please note that I was now in HIGH wedding season), I uploaded the re-edited reception pictures.
When you guys chose the photos for the canvasses and albums, I sent them in for printing but it literally felt like you started finding fault with everything else that was previously "stunning"...
I got a bit agitated, I admit, as every time I thought we were done now, I got more messages complaining about this and that. Eventually tour husband texted me and he was not nearly as attacking as you were and that is why I stayed calm with him.
He nicely asked me for some redos on some videos after you received your final parcel with the USB and prints. The request from your husband was in late April of 2023. Soon after I uploaded the redone videos on Google Drive and asked him to let me know if there was anything else. I never heard anything again (so please not that the redone videos was not only given a year later). I left it on the drive for almost TWO MONTHS after which I removed it to make space for new footage that I had to upload for other clients.
In July, I got a message from your husband asking why the link was unavailable. I explained to him and told him that as soon as possible, I will upload it again and I did
So please explain to me why now, a year later you send me a whatsapp message (after you received this redone videos a few months ago and I clearly asked to let me know if there is anything else), you did not even give me a chance to respond to your whatsapp message in any way before running to social media?
As for the dance video - we station our camera as to were the best light is according to the scene and our contract also CLEARLY asks that we be informed of any "out of the ordinary" events so that we can plan around them. Our videographer stationed his camera where he had the best light and we were NEVER informed that the first dance included the whole bridal party (yours were really the first and only wedding ever that we had that the couple did not do the first dance alone), so we were completely unaware and thus was not able to plan accordingly.
I also just watched the dance and highlight video and there is clearly footage of you two alone as well xx
I am more than happy to share this wedding portfolio with any clients that have concerns because of this review as in all honestly, your photos were some of the best of 2022 and you make it sound like everything was sh*tty. I am more than happy to share photos and videos of this specific wedding if anyone is interested 😊
