Good day,
Thank you for the e-mail and apologies for not replying as yet.
We received instruction to collect the outstanding balance arising from the sale of the 2018 Renault Kadjar 1.2 T Blaze.
The goods were sold and proceeds received on 13 May 2022 in the amount of R129375.00. The balance still due and owing to Absa Bank Limited is R207683.79. These guys know all to well that they are responsible for the debt as i have NOT signed any paperwork with them and they trying to force me to pay for a vehicle that i don't have . the bank was supposed to ask me if i agree with the amount that the vehicle was auctioned for . they never contacted me once for any information . when i took received the vehicle i immediately called the the dealer as the vehicle had a engine warning light on . i was told by the dealership guy that they will arrange for the vehicle to be picked up and i should wit . i waited for a month and no response from them so i called again and was told that they sending someone for it . after two months the brakes starting making noise and needed to get fixed. i asked the dealership for a way forward and was directed to a service center to get the brakes fixed . for eight months of trying to get this vehicle out my yard they finally fetched it . i thought the case was closed until i received a mail from the above mentioned law firm that i need to pay R200 000 for the car . who auctions a vehicle for less than half of the value ....
