Stay clear of this place! They Sell Vehicles with Hidden issues! the moment I drove off the lot there was a gearbox shudder on the highway. When I arrived in Cape Town - David Solomons tried everything in his power not pay for a replacement torque converter (even though I had brought up the problem within 24 hours of purchase) Eventually his preferred gearbox workshop "replaced" it and it failed within 2 weeks - I then asked to return the vehicle and as a consumer I have this right. He refused and eventually had the same place replace the "replaced" torque converter. The vehicle has driven fine until now. The steering rack has now completely broken and my mechanic (who I've trusted with all my vehicles for years) has confirmed the pinion / main shaft is completely worn out and that someone (most likely Dealers choice or their mechanic) had adjusted the steering tension up to an extreme point in order to hide any play in the rack - if this rack had broken at 120km/h it could have been a serious situation. Dont trust this company! Ive had an extremely poor experience - The cars look good on the surface and I now believe they are indeed DRESSING UP LEMONS at this place. Dont believe the social media hype or videos as they shove a camera in your face as you purchase the car and then use your image as marketing etc - Spend your hard earned money elsewhere and save yourself the headache of dealing with David Solomons.
