#BLACKFRIDAY :My friend took me here for our monthly get-together thispast Saturday. WOW! Such a beautiful and serene environment! a Top-class facility to visit. The food was exquisite. I had the quinoa-sald with deep fried camberet and she had the Alfredo fettucini. The food was prepared with love and care and the sheer experience of eating here necessitates a come back.... The waiters and the staff were more than friendly and went beyond their duty to make us feel welcome and pampered. The setting is beautiful, even the restrooms. Loved the individual little towels to dry your hands with. I really enjoyed watching the little springboks that came very close while grazing on the grass of the golf course. Do yourself a favour and visit this beautiful place with the best food and the most friendly staff! 10 out 10!!

Good Afternoon, To whom it may concern, could you kindly forward this email to all parties, and have this review broadcasted. We had our wedding at Devonvale Golf & Wine Estate on the 4th of September 2021, and I would like to thank everybody for the time and effort put in to make our day as special as can be, firstly BB Bernado was exceptionally outstanding with the whole process, the decoration and the set up of the Garden Gazebo area was done amazing and everything was really awesome the whole event through, from the food to how it was organised. Lisa and BB assisted our guest with their needs and made sure that everybody was happy all the time, very professional. Lisa is an outstanding person who deserves a 10/10 for her professional and awesome work ethic, she has also ensured that the whole process of our wedding runs smoothly, I am pretty sure that there were things on the agenda that we didn't pay for that were still provided to us. The waiters at the event were very helpful, a special thanks to Loretta as well, this lasy kept asking our guests if they are okay, and checked up on them all the time, it came to a point that when a guest wanted something they only asked for Loretta :). How can I forget Andy, the waiter who assisted Celest and I, this man is awesome and we respect him so much that he is the reason Celest and I decided that Devonvale would be our new spot for date night. My husband and I celebrated our 2 year wedding anniversary at the estate December 2020 and everything was perfect from the staff to the rooms to the breakfast to the couples massages and wine tasting. We will most certainly visit again. Keep up the excellent work Devonvale Staff it's mush appreciated.

I had a very bad experience at Devonvale Golf Lodge Estate with customer service at the lowest level. Venue is awesome but my experience with reservation and booking, customer service was the worst experienced, Being a regular traveller locally and internationally. We were checkout without our knowledge whilst attending my son's wedding in Stellenbosch. Our privacy was invaded and touching and moving our personal belongings without consent in the room during Covid19 was not sitting all good with Shana and I. The worst was the manager was not on site and had to ask receptionist to call him so I could voice my concerns, but Jaco and staff had an attitude, no empathy to our situation, he was helpful at all. Please ensure when booking at Devonvale Golf Estate , that they honour your deal and ensure that they live up to their promise. Very very unhappy customer.

I never knew forgetting something at Devonvale Golf And Wine Estate's hotel rooms would be a loss for me, particularly after informing the hotel as soon as I realised I have left an item behind when departing the hotel, after I informed management, I was told the lady who was assigned to clean the room threw away the item. Maybe someone should make me understand who gives the hotel the right to decide what is valuable to their guest or not and decide it's the right to throw away an item that belongs to their guest without contacting the guest first. All hotels have a Lost and Found policy, that safeguards Guest’s items, I feel that certain guest at the hotel are not taken seriously as I have taken time to enlighten management via email of the events that led to my dissatisfaction on the way the matter was handled and still did not receive any response. I have visited other hotels before and have never come across such experience.

The blond lady who works at the desk at the Pro Shop is the rudest and most unpleasant person to deal with. She always has a frown on her face and some snarky comment to say. Her attitude towards customers in unprofessional an off-putting. How such a person can be employed in a customer facing role is beyond me.

The staff is incompetent and not well trained. There are a lot of issues with the place and you can be sure that you will not easily get your booking sorted. They constantly make mistakes with bookings and you will not relax at this place.
